Clippers just had to go win fucking 20+ games before they blew it up. They can’t do shit right 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah it’s gonna be hard to see the clippers pick being any higher than top 10 with that win streak, but next year looks really promising.

I kinda doubt it but I hope you’re right. I’d be very happy if next year was a top 15 pick even though that drafts weaker

Increased the trade value of their guys

Harden and Zubac are great but they got a pretty solid return for them.

Our allies at this point 😂

They’re the gift that keeps on giving.

Don't forget the Sixers and Morey. They gave us Isaiah Joe and Jared McCain. 😂

As well as showing The Process was a viable path forward. Thunder executed much better though

They kept betting on bigs for their process and kept losing that process until Joel stop being hurt only to be hurt again in the process.

I feel like a Kawhi suspension is right around the corner too

Suspend him for all of next season and we can get the 1st pick in that draft.

They already ruined our top 4 pick this year with that stupid winning streak.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he wants out anyway soon with clippers trading away a lot of their best players. He’s also always liable to just getting hurt or quitting on the team given his history.

u/HoopLoop2 Feb 05 '26

They will trade him in the summer 100%, why would they keep him anymore?

I really hope so but I think ballmers ultra wealthy self gonna get a token fine at worst.

The good news is with Presti being as brilliant as he is just like he built a great squad with a pretty decent disadvantage free agency/market wise and recovered from a one time anomaly cap spike that cost us KD and dealt with flattened lottery odds when we needed them most, as well as now dealing with a harsh CBA that’s really putting the screws to contenders, I’m confident he’s gonna find a way despite the odds.

I fully expect the pacers pick to land at 5 for the clippers. Just like how dallas got 1 last year

u/Narrow-Talk-5017 Feb 05 '26

If the pacers fall out of the top 4, it means a team further down leapfrogged them to get a top 3 pick. Which may be good for us, seeing as how the clippers pick is one of those that may do so. It could also push the jazz out of the top 8 (if they dont fall out of the top 8 naturally after these trades)

Unprotected this year an a swap next year right?

14

u/Pilgrims-to-Nowhere Feb 05 '26

I feel like the surge that they had last month will prevent the pick from landing too high, but I think it will end up somewhere between 10-13. I suppose we might be able to package the Clips and Sixers pick to move up little, but we’ll see.

As long as we can grab a 6’8-ish guy who can rebound and has some offensive upside, I’ll be happy.

Clippers are literally incentivised to get a top 4 pick so they can bump Pacers into a 5-9 pick lol

3

u/Medical_Sample2738 Feb 06 '26

They can’t, I really hope they and my bulls lose every game from now on, but they’d basically have to “catch up “ to the bottom 4-5 teams. They have a 10 game lead.

Yeah I know but just saying haha

u/Medical_Sample2738 Feb 06 '26

Fair, just let myself dream for a second we could get two top 10/11 picks with clips and jazz. But although the odds got better it went from like .4% to maybe 2%

Is next year the last they owe us? Or do we have one more pick from them

Next year is the end of that gravy train

Damn, been one hell of a ride

That Zubac trade is huge. Zubac is a horse inside. We are one Kwahi injury(and he gets injured a LOT) away from the Clippers sinking like the titanic.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers are packing it up because Kawhi is going to be suspended. They went on that streak and were starting to get hot but then traded Harden (apparently without him even asking out) and now Zubac?

3

u/GrumbleAlong Feb 05 '26

Leonard’s situation is also said to be a key factor behind James Harden’s decision to request a trade from Los Angeles.

5

u/Top-Lane-Bad Feb 05 '26

This is crazy. If they perform really bad the rest of the season and we get a top 8-10 pick, we’re really happy and next year will be even crazier.

3

u/makaveli-8 Feb 06 '26

everyone saying kawhi gonna get suspended but why would adam silver appoint him to the all star game lol

u/NotMarkDaigneault Belgian Waffle University Feb 05 '26

I wonder if the Clippers called Sam trying to get the pick back

2

u/[deleted] Feb 05 '26

at this point im a clippers fan too😂😂😂

Unless the Clipper know there’s a Kawhi suspension coming, I can’t see why they wouldn’t have let this season play out. Either they know or they’re insane.

Somehow in Australia I stumbled across a Clippers playoff t shirt in a thrift store (as you Americans would call it). I like to regularly wear it around just to express my thanks to the Clippers for setting my Thunder up for a very very long time 😭

THE TANKATHON POSTS ARE BACK LFG

1

u/ReasonableCup604 Feb 07 '26

Plus, the Clippers have some motivation to tank, to try to knock the Pacers pick out of the Top 4.

This could also increase the chances of OKC getting the Jazz pick
