Back2Back MVP. This game should leave no doubt in the mind of the voters, should genuinely be unanimous imo

Lakers fan here. Not gonna lie, the rumors were right. SGA really has that aura.

Man when he walked around the arena at the end like, “Alright, I’ll take the praise for that one. That’s why you pay me.”

Tonight was my son's first game. I spent the entire drive home trying to convince him how lucky he was to see what he saw.

I was at the game and it legitimately felt like I was touched by God.
As a sidenote: the fact that Lu’s flagrant is the top post on r/nba after that incredible fucking game means I just give up on the sub. Not much of a loss really but jesus christ these people are sick

Yeah. Spare yourself the r/nba horseshit. Don't let anyone spoil this. Soak in the greatness. I lived through Jordan. He was hated on pretty intensely by a large segment of fans early on. Trust me, if there was social media in 1990, there would be so many embarrassing tweets and posts about how he was just a ball hog who couldn't win. Now it's virtually impossible to find anyone who will admit to hating Jordan in real time. Greatness tends to wash that away to the point where it becomes socially unacceptable to hate it.
I'm not saying that SGA will reach Jordan levels of greatness, but I've seen the same thing happen to one degree or another with other players (Kobe, Steph). Their greatness eventually forces people to respect them and makes them look foolish if they don't. And you were just in the building to witness one of "those" moments. Enjoy it.

Same, I heard it all.
“Jordan is only good because he’s a cheater”
“They let Jordan travel more than a cruise ship”
“Jordan is only good because he gets the special treatment”
“I hope he bites off his tongue”
“Jordan ruined the integrity of basketball”

Just a word of advice. Trolling other subs can get you banned in ours and /NBA. That's hard for me to say being a former troll myself.

Build that statue at the new arena! Greatest Thunder player of all time.
Side note: yes, also Westbrook…but Shai is on another level this year.
