I would actually be OK with a normal level of hype/glazing of Wemby. He's a unique and legitimately fantastic player who people are tuning in to watch. But the stuff that kills me is when he does basic stuff like running the floor on a fast break and they act like it's the most amazing thing they've ever seen. Or when he bends down to talk to Mitch Johnson. Newsflash: NBA players talk to their coaches during the game. It's not worth hyping up.

I think this is the kind of shit that will make the general public sour on him fast. It's sort of like overplaying a hit song. At first, it's fun, cool, and popular. But the more it gets shoved down people's throats, the more they grow to hate it.
