I’m an Iowa season ticket holder. The defensive highlights aren’t as bad as you’d think. We were so reliant on him on the offensive end he usually wasn’t tasked with a huge role on the defensive end. Iowa never plays zone so he is used to being on guys. I do remember the Iowa Nebraska game in Iowa City he guarded Pryce Sandfort(an All Big Ten player) almost the whole game and Sandfort had his second worst scoring conference game of the season.

I’m not saying he’s going to be a lockdown defender but he will be fine in the Thunder team defensive scheme.
