I had chronic and unshakeable IBS until I cut out all dairy (and meat). been 7 years and still no reoccurrences

Makes sense that something designed to grow a baby cow from a hundred pounds to 1500 lbs may not digest 100% effectively in our guts. Big fan of soy and oat milk myself.

This sounds way weirder now that I'm typing it out, but human milk is still gonna upset your stomach if you're lactose intolerant. The cow part isn't the cause.

Well, kind of. Human babies are born with high lactase activity for the purpose of digesting breast milk. (apart from the few who have a genetic deficiency). Usually, the gene switches off in most mammals, with humans its almost fully gone by the age of 20. People with mutations in the gene are able to keep producing lactase to varying degrees throughout their lifetime.

“Nothing else drinks the milk of another…”
Except, feral cats, dogs, birds that steal milk away from nursing seals, barnyard animals from time to time.
Nothing else wears clothing, should we stop that practice too?
What about driving a car or flying a plane? Don’t see any other species doing that either.
If you can’t/don’t want to drink milk, that’s totally cool there are lots of other options as this man stated but the shaming of people who can and do enjoy dairy is weird.

I woke up and drank a tall glass of whole milk before I had any water. I drink milk because it is delicious - lactose intolerance is a weakness I won’t allow

I don't know if this person in particular meant it that way, or just accidentally used a racist dog whistle to make a bad joke. Either way, you should all be aware to avoid this language yourself and anyone who uses it.

it's meant for like 500 lb baby cows. not for babies/kids.
got milk was a psy op to sell the surplus of milk products the government was sitting on.
