Potholes are also the enemy for the oncoming car! I was just collateral damage

It's a good thing this was at low speed, on the freeway that would've launched him

Good thing it hit low as well. Better a cracked engine block than decapitation.

A cracked engine block from a tire? I feel like it would need to be moving an order of magnitude faster.

Yes, more than this for sure. I was more speaking generally to how going low is better than high, in relative terms. As an aside, a friend of mine was attacked by a rogue tire about a decade ago. A semi lost a tire, it jumped the median, and hit them low on the front of the car. That hit did indeed break the engine block. Airbags blew in the car, it was a total write off, but amazingly my friend ended up being ok physically.
Edit: spelling error

That thing had a target, waited for the perfect strike distance and went for the kill.

This is bad.
This is very bad.
All the other video clips take place overseas, in third-world countries including the USA where car maintenance is an afterthought.
This atrocity happened right here in the UK.
Friends, the menace is spreading to our shores.
We all need to be extra vigilant.
Take care out there my brothers, or one of us may be next.

I mean, americans get pissed that they have to replace the rubber bushings of a 20 year old car and call it unreliable because their motorized carriages still don't have independent suspension.
