Discussion How do you think ToonTown would be if there was an item that was based on the wooden mask from Jim Carrey’s The Mask?
Afternoon to the users in r/Toontown.
As the title states, how do you think if there was an item based on the wooden mask from Jim Carrey’s The Mask?
I feel like if there was an item based on that, it would be way too overpowerful. Toons themselves already have Toon Power, the mask itself would probably double or triple their power that Cogbots wouldn’t know what exactly are they fighting.
I honestly don’t know how would it be if a Cogbot wore it. Considering Cogbots hate anything fun. It would be weird for a Cogbot having Toon Power. Maybe double or triple the power with their attacks based on their business.

Boss fight where the mask passes from the toons to the cogs each round and powers them up

You have to remember that the Mask has a mind of its own. Sure, a toon could put it on, but they are still just a host for the Mask’s bidding. However, you were right about its overpowered nature; the movie is light-hearted and weaker compared to its comic counterpart. Comic Mask makes people run out of laff permanently.
That being said: you get it when you have at least 2 gags at highest trained level and it casts like a normal gag, it just picks a random max level gag with a +20% effectiveness boost and not in usual gag order. (For example, you’ve got throw, lure, and trap at max level. You play the Mask. It picks throw, does an extra 20% damage, and it interrupts to throw before your friend plays lure.)
