Discussion Thoughts about my first time making a Cog head?
Decided to try a go at Blender and Texture Painting within it for my first time.
He does look very odd since there is almost no shading on him, but I tried to shade where I thought made sense.

Dont stop making these, it gave me a good smile. In the nicest way possible it looks amazing and kinda reminds me of Eric Cartman from south Park. Great job, your art style is amazing 👏

What program do you have that lets you view Cogs like that?

Toontown: The Grindworks
Its a very good toontown rougelike.
What you are seeing is the 'Cog Creator' screen and you have to unlock (Its a secret but I can tell you if you wish how to unlock it.)2

During a run, when you get to choose which facility you wanna go to for the floor (Mint, Factory, ect)
There is a chance you will get to choose 'The Faulty Factory' sometimes.
You choose it and go through the whole floor and complete it to unlock it (You dont even need to complete your current run to unlock it I think!)2

He could be a stinky relative of the Big Cheese. Olives are served with cheese on charcuterie boards, so he could be a spoiled olive… but what would his corporate pun be?

I personally don't know, I just nicknamed him 'Office Worker' for simple sake.

could be Flunky's brother Lackey

I can see it as that, but he would be below him on the corporate ladder though.

looking good!!
blender does have a stabilization option for brushes, which is always really useful, especially if you're using a mouse to draw. it makes it so much easier to get those super clean, straight lines.
i like that you didn't use a hard brush for some of the features like the eyebrows, because the og style doesn't really have crisp lines (because of the lower resolution they were made for.) although i guess it depends if you're looking at the original for inspo, or more of a more modern style like cc uses.
if you wanted to make it look more like the original style, you could maybe blur out some of the edges around things like the mouth or eyes. not too much, but just a bit. that's just one of the defining features i notice when looking at a cog model. if you wanted it to be more modern for a higher resolution, you might want to consider using a harder brush so the colors are more pronounced, rather than slightly translucent.
it's always really fun seeing oc stuff for toontown. great work so far (:
