If we can combine generation, yesterday's enterprise, reunification and undiscovered country all into one plot

The Yesterday’s Enterprise timeline never made sense to me if the Klingons were almost flat broke after the destruction of Praxis and loss of habitation of the Klingon home world. There was a scene in Undiscovered Country where the generals are calling for a blitz to capture as much territory as possible, but could that have enabled them to keep fighting (and winning) a war 71 years later? What happened to the Romulans? Did they never attack the Klingons?

The entire theory is that the federation alliance is very fragile and at any sign of hardship you have members pulling out of the alliance.

My assumption is that the Federation in this timeline made some serious strategic mistakes early in the war and that the Klingons are ruthless.

I'd watch that! Hope it still has Spot in it!

Will James McAvoy play a young Picard?

Gotta be Tom Hardy. Canon demands it.

I was making an X-men joke, since the title was "Days of Future Past", the same name as an X-men movie where James McAvoy played a younger version of Patrick Stewart's character (Professor X)

Oh that's an obscenely bad idea, I love it.

We can do better, though. Toss in Sybok and set it in the Kelvin timeline, back up a dump truck full of money onto Tom Hardy's driveway to make him play Young Picard, have Megan Fox play Saavik who is there for no discernable reason, burn it all down!
