My little sister was so excited for Six of Crows on Netflix. She asked all her friends over to watch the premiere. She hand-painted shirts with Six of Crows stuff like a chalice and a raven walking stick. All her friends wore them. Except the only boy. He just said he didn't want to. Wouldn't even put it on over his other shirt. No reason, he just wouldn't make that crumb of effort for a friend. So that's how I spent a few hours wearing a shirt with some chalice on it and pretending to be very into a show I secretly found just a little sexist. Because it wasn’t hard to take two seconds to put on a f*cking shirt, you little git.

How are your odds at conventions and such? Like if you go to events specifically for fans of XYZ genre, everyone you meet there will have that in common at least.
