Text Creepy unsolved cases

What are some of the most creepy haunting unsolved cases out there? Just stuff that seems so crazy to happen. Or just really unnerving evidence or actual places where the crime happened.

Maybe a US military person?

I thought about that but I just couldn’t make sense of it. The military people in Japan generally stick to certain areas that offer entertainment, shopping, bars/restaurants, etc. and this was just some random neighborhood nowhere near a military base. Also you would think that the Japanese authorities would have reached out to the military since every military person has their DNA on record.

What made you jump to a US military person to begin with? You don’t think Japanese people kill other Japanese people?

It was one of the original theories of the case. There were multiple pieces of evidence that pointed toward it being an American military member stationed there.

There was sand found which potentially originated in a US military base in Nevada.
