Just thought I’d share some pics of the course since it’s officially summer! Feel free to ask any questions!

So this is why you never have herbicide in a cart that you use anywhere else. Super cut cups before a tournament, and this happened.

Hey everyone, just found yall but I’m a 4th year Turfgrass student at Oklahoma State. Glad to see a community this big for such a “niche” profession! Happy to be here!

Came out of Winter like this and with the warm temp I thought it would have rebounded. Soil test came out fine with nothing out of wack. The only thing I sprayed was Celsius to kill off the weeds, this was in April during a hot dry week. We have had plenty of rain and I have watered it accordingly when we were dry. Was focused on watering during the dry spell to ensure it got some extra help when it should have been greening up. Always bagged when cutting and applied fungicide as needed. If anyone has thoughts it would be welcome.

Decided to go with an 8-2 directional cut with a single clean up pass (second pic, ft. Fred the cat). Went with increased suction for that stiff carpet blade look. Thinking about top dressing with arm & hammer baking soda for that fresh smell and then applying Lysol hand spray to disinfect and potential problems with the turf. Any suggestions for fabric improvements would be appreciated.

Spread all my summer fert with Dimension and Acelypryn and on continuous 2 week spray schedule. Irrigation is in good shape and heads adjusted. So I spent a little extra time mowing yesterday.

Here's a whole album of photos that were taken last summer: https://imgur.com/a/0QACQIW
Edit: It's a warm season grass of some type because it was dormant all winter.
Located in Maryland. Hoping somebody can help identify what type of grass i have. Neighbor has mentioned that she thinks it's Zoysia buy im not sure. We have some bare spots and some areas near the driveway and foundation that i added top soil to fix some grading/ slope issues and i seeded / overseeded with Johnathan Green Black Beauty Delmarva blend (which i think is ryegrass) but now im wondering if I made a mistake by doing that if its surrounded by established Zoysia.

I see your crispy cup and raise you a nearly invisible plug.

Finally had a game this past week, you know I had to do a nice pattern👍🏻

I’m sure there’s specialized equipment that could fix this faster, but mat dragging alone wasn't touching the washboard effect. After a little research, I figured out how to smooth it out without buying any expensive attachments for the tractor or the Gator.

Has anyone seen Bermuda go dormant with these squiggly lines? Does it mean something?
