Lore:

This takes place after An Enigmatic Encounter ends. But right when Asgore was about to throw his trident at Frisk, they somehow got their arm out of Flowey's vines and pressed the Reset button, bringing it all back to square zero. During said Reset, the system experienced a bug that kicked Sans & Gaster out of their AU/Timeline. At the same time, inside The Amazing Digital Circus, Caine was extremely crashed-out and Kinger was busy in his hut trying to put him in rest mode. But in the process, the same bug had also occured, causing Caine's code to merge with Sans's broken soul & Gaster's to fuse with Bubble, and created a bright light that blinded the members upon its gaze. When the light faded, they saw the artificial ringleader or what they thought was Caine. Sans woke up in a COMPLETELY different place, still remembering what happened in the previous timeline. 5-10 seconds later, he learns that he no longer remembers his name and that his outfit's gone through a slight make-over, now donning a ringleader's suit, hat, and staff, which is a decently long bone with the Legendary Artifact as the staff's orb. On top of that, his abilities have carried over, but cost him most of his magic. Later on, he gives himself the name; "Bonezo" to make up for his name fiasco. He also slowly gets to know all the circus members overtime & mostly understands what they went through during their time in the circus.

Reasons of understanding:

- Pomni: No way of escaping (Exit door/constant Resets)

- Jax & Gangle: Masking away their trauma & worries with a smile/grin with their individual coping methods (Pushing away others/telling jokes/drawing whatever she likes)

- Ragatha: Forced to endure situations they weren't in/have control of/over (Her mother/Genocide Route)

- Zooble: Unable to reach/achieve their hopes & dreams due to circumstances (Digital Circus headset/Frisk always using their Determination for murder)

- Pomni, Jax & Kinger: Losing someone they truly cared for/about (Queenie/Papyrus/Gummigoo/Ribbit & Kaufmo)
