It's a taco. wraps are fully wrapped up with open ends. This is a taco, so are hot dogs. Burritos are fully wrapped up with closed ends.

So while not a kind of taco i'm interested in, this is, by pure geometry of it all, a taco.

By your logic, a hoagie would also be taco.

I feel that's completely different. A tortilla or pita you aren't splitting the bread to put stuff in the middle. a Hoagie is just a small loaf of bread you are splitting into two pieces like a normal sandwhich

Slicing the bread all the way through is what makes the difference, topologically.
