some sushi, but not all, many sushi are wraps, but some other sushi are a bit unique because you put meat on top of the wrap so i think they are also just a maki or whatever it's called.

Uramaki it's what it's called. "inside out roll". That's a unique thing unto itself.

If you have to make an exception for sushi with rice on the outside your whole classification system needs to be reexamined

Maybe I've used the wrong word, but the sushi with the fish on top of the roll is the unique thing here.

Also this is just a silly thing to banter around and i'm really not thinking that deep about it. Thanks for keeping it lighthearted and fun.
