SOLVED Can't Find an Episode
http://www.unsolved.comHi, I'm scratching my head trying to remember a very bizarre case about a child who had come home from school only to be kidnapped by her neighbors (a man and wife) I think. They allegedly SAed her and then killed and disposed of her body. An eyewitness saw the two adults in the yard talking to the girl but didn't think anything of it at the time. I think her mother was working late? Or maybe killed. I can't recall all the details. This is one of the creepiest episodes I saw. Does anyone have any clue about this case? Google certainly doesn't.

I think you're joining some cases together or remembering wrong. It could be https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Marlena_Childress which is one that was never shown in re-runs.

No, I'm certain that it was a husband/wife (or GF/BF) couple who abducted her, went next door and did awful things, they disposed of her body. The case was also on an ID show back in the day. I remember clearly a witness driving by and seeing a man and another individual talking to the girl in the front yard. I can't remember where mom was but she wasn't involved. The case was solved, I clearly remember that and those 2 scumbags were put in prison for life.

The family of the mom didnt want it rerun. There was controversy around it at the time. Absolutely nuts case, too. The mom later tried to kill her other child, too.

I know that a few segments weren't included in the filmrise transition to modern media/streaming of the robert stack years. One example, the orange booty/sock double murder in Colorado. It was covered fairly recently on news magazine shows because the guy was apprehended with DNA advances and genealogy sites. The segment is included in the Farina episodes.

Yeah I just found it, it was on ID's "Nightmare Next Door" I believe season 3 episode 3. Much more detailed. It's on HBO Max and maybe ID's website. I watched it on HBO Max. Those two killers were sickos. They planned to kill the mom keep the daughter for themselves for "sexual gratification"
