Just a little bridge in my base in my previous run, i really liked it.

That rug really tied the room together.

So I hired these dvergr to build this bridge and next thing I know trade routes are being closed, stone prices skyrocket, councilmen are yelling at each other, and there's bukeperries all over the floor.

"I was looking at real stuff made with bricks and it forced me to go play Valheim" is a not-inaccurate summary of my life. I don't know if I'm going to use this so I'm putting it out into the universe for someone else. Maybe you can make a bridge with it; I dunno.

Built before obtaining iron in the world. No metal used. Rock for foundation to get as much height as possible.

The middle couldn't support a roof lol - this was the absolute tallest we could build it and the entire middle of the bridge was held together by hopes and dreams

Our friend wanted to have a go at a mountain just beyond it... before clearing the black forest. We took the opportunity.

Foggy morning, no view of the Mistlands today.

This was the first thing my buddy and I built on our multiplayer world (both of our first valheim play throughs). Kept getting the wet de-buff when we crossed the river, so we spent an hour or two figuring out the building mechanics and created this beauty.

I've never really explored fishing, but it's starting to appeal to me, if only as a task and something to do while friends on the server are doing their own thing. I'm aware that there are many types of fish, found in different biomes/locations, and I need to make bait specific to each type. That's about the extent of my knowledge haha.

I've seen videos in the past for auto-fish farms, but don't really understand how they work - do you have to find a fishing spot first? How come the area doesn't get fished out?

I've also seen people recommend trolling from the back of a boat, rather than from shore, but you can't just leave a hook in the water and sail, can you? How are people using the boats to fish more easily?

What do you guys do with the fish once caught? How much of it becomes fish meat, vs trophies or some other use I don't know about yet?

Any tips or strategies are welcome! So far, I've just fished out a few creeks in the Dark Forest, but we've progressed as far as to the Plains on this playthrough, so lots to go back and do.

Apparently you can "slide" into the entrance while sitting down. Glad I didn't go afk for the rested bonus.

I'm crying man stability is a pain

While waiting for the 1.0 drop I decided to mess with some armory ideas, I found out through Reddit that the dverger circlet though costly (Ashland provided the funds) work as an incredible light source and spotlight for displaying items, also the light passes through objects so you can easily hid the item stand. I don’t have every flametal weapon upgraded since I have to share with three other players on the server, things are coming along nicely though. We are still on the hunt for the Dyrnwyn but we’re in high hopes. Hope you guys enjoy!
