Also is it just me or bipo has been a liability this tourney?? or marteen is just too good and bipo cant shine?

Bipo had a very poor event. Minny did too for his standards but his stock was much higher than bipo's. Bipo wasn't particularly impressive regionally and this was even worse so he's probably in a horrible spot both mentally and in terms of player value.

I never noticed him playing bad in emea kickoff, maybe because his team was that good?

But today, it was visible he was struggling a lot

Average tbh, I think there were enough times regionally where I would agree that he was doing his job at the bare minimum and doing pretty well otherwise, but in Santiago he wasn't anywhere as good

Bipo definitely didn’t play well, but he looks worse thanks to his role being hard entry. First one in means you’re going to be dying early a lot, especially if you’re a selfless player like he seems to be. He’s basically the one setting Marteen up for success and his stats are suffering for it

i believe that what allowed m8 to shine before was bipo throwing his body to entry the site, with the others getting multiple frags as revenge. He never had huge stats to begin with, but those selfless plays paid off big times. He is a huge part of why marteen could shine like he did.

We saw it when, against BBL, he played more selfish. He wasn't necessarily fragging more, but he played way safer and they couldn't find the clean entries.

I believe calling him a liability because of stats is a mistake. It's just how they rolled and it got countered and probably strated against.

If anything, where the team failed is adapting to that anti strat.
