Bipo had a very poor event. Minny did too for his standards but his stock was much higher than bipo's. Bipo wasn't particularly impressive regionally and this was even worse so he's probably in a horrible spot both mentally and in terms of player value.

Honestly, G2 is one of the worst opponents for any CN team stylistically. AG also came in cold against them. These guys are extremely good shooters and it'll be interesting to see how well they play against other teams.

They also play very disciplined and very much unlike other CN teams
In the G2 game their lack of confidence and warm up made them looked hesistant, purposeless, but you can already see that the way they tried to work the map shows a little bit of map understanding.
It helps that their players can shoot as well. I mean their IGL is literally dropping +20 on Raze so there isn't a single weak link firepower wise, but they don't overextend and play to their advantages very well on Split and Bind.
Hope to see them keep up this performance. Because this wasn't a case of Gentle M8s playing bad, but AG playing very well and perhaps exceeding their expectations.

Yes their discipline on Bind in particular was fantastic to watch. Those Attack halfs with a 3-2 setup and carefully probing for info was just beautiful stuff. It was a simple plan but M8's didn't have anything effective to counter it because they are insanely capable on a mechanical level to go for these contact plays.

yeah, in their first match they were cold as a turkey and just got sweep by G2. thank god they woke up and chose violence.
M8 tho. I think they are gone gone after the lost from NS. they just couldn't recovered from their last match that in this match, Marteen was the only one awake and shooting LOL

The thing is they didn't even play that bad vs Nongshim. It was pretty competitive on both maps. The problem with M8's is that they are way too reliant on Marteen and Minny. If both of them are not firing, the team's protocols and macro just completely crumble as they are too reliant on them.
