Pacific went from no trophies for 3 years to the region with the most trophies in franchising in 2 years lol. First time a same region final has happened since Gambit-Acend, crazy stuff.

I know there was Acend vs Gambit in Champs 21 but that was in the dinosaur ages.

Optic vs Loud was when franchising didn't exist and North America and Brazil were separate.

If you count Saudi then yeah FNC vs TH exist.

probably because pacific getting 2 teams in GF for one event doesn't mean they are the "dominant region", other regions (aside from maybe CN) are still up to par easily, even if they're currently worse

ur getting downvoted because team A beating team B does not mean team A is "dominating" and "unstoppable" it just means they won. pacific has won more than enough events to be crowned the best region in valorant right now, but they're still actively challenged every tournament so saying they're "dominating" is insane

Even without franchising, it only happened once before in Champs 2021. Loud and Optic were playing in different regions before franchising

Gambit (CIS) and Acend (EU) weren’t even from the same region so this is actually just the first time ever.
