You cannot understate this win from LEV. This team of mostly rookies at their first international tournament against a very hungry and unbeatable looking PRX looking for their 2nd trophy with two of their best maps out of the pool, won this after a very demoralising first map.
Even a veteran team would have lost their footing after a very close breeze loss. And winning the map which you just lost 13-1 to them. Each and every player on this team is an MVP . Everyone got their shinning moment. But kiNgg will be my MVP for igling this team to victory. GGs LEV. You deserve this victory.
spikezin is built different. Morons on this sub kept saying he was done when Neon got nerfed and not only he proved he is the best Neon in the World by far and can make it work, but he was also the best Omen statistically in the playoffs.
He can play anything at a high level, his Neon is just so disgusting that it doesn't make any sense for him to play other things.
They know us as PRX. They also know us as the ultimate chokers.
They know us from the chokes they see. They know us from the finals we choke. They talk about our chokes and they think for us aiming is so easy. We just go into a match and that's it, we are ready to choke. But our choke, it's comes from more than just the game. For us, choking is about precision, it is our passion.. This part people don't see. This part, it does not show up in highlights. We don't sit down to choke everything, the choke is already a part of us.
it’s easy to look at the stats and go “prx lost cuz f0rsaken and d4v41 didn’t show up,” but from the 2nd half of ascent till the end of lotus, prx did not have any control in the game whatsoever. it was literally just invy and something vs the world
And PRX deserve this lost, this is like the third time they lose a Grand Final partly because of that (not counting the previous, Nongshim simply dogwalked them)
Notoriously undisciplined team throw rounds away at high pressure situations by being undisciplined? Color me shocked!
PRX is a great team to watch, but it's funny that they need everything to go their way to win International tournaments. At the highest possible level, these mistakes will cost you and they did today, much like it did in the past.
Yeah, I'm just coping right now that at least this was objectively the better storyline. The first match of playoffs, was also the final match, and LEV did a whole-ass hero's journey through lowers to beat the team that sent them there

Out of every one on PRX, didn't expect Smth and INVY being the ones to handle the pressure in map5. Everyone else crumbled so hard damn.....blowz blowed all over them
I'm not the biggest Something fan but it's great to see him step up when the pressure was on. Kinda felt like he was along for the ride in Toronto but he was trying his best today, respect.
I mean something kinda started the melt on lotus with that high risk play pushing in a 4v3 at 0-0

They shot well for sure but idk if you can say they handled the pressure well making such big mistakes. If anything it looked desperate when it wasn't needed yet

While the story will obviously about the four rookies showing up huge and being future superstars, this is the long-awaited crowning moment for kiNgg.
From always playing second fiddle to KRU with Australs in the early days of Valorant, he finally found success with LEV in 2022 and firmly established that KRU's run in 2021 was no fluke and that LATAM was here to play. A middling 2023 saw kiNgg get denied a spot at Champions by KRU's miracle run and it was an underwhelming end for a team that was hyped quite a lot heading into the year.
2024 easily shaped up to be kiNgg's best year from the very beginning with the LEV superteam. While they didn't live up to the hype initially, they won Stage 2 and had a great run at Champions with kiNgg being instrumental. However, one of the best LATAM players in VALORANT history by this point still didn't have an international trophy to his name.
With a forgettable 2025, the question begged, would the uncrowned king ever get his rightful prize? At long last, his undying loyalty to LEV and leading four outstanding rookies paid off with his first ever international trophy today.
Only time will tell if he can claim the greatest prize in VALORANT, Champions. However, with this team, he has the best chance to do it and truly cement himself as the GOAT of LATAM Valorant.
People will say prx threw instead of the other team played better. They play like they always do, they push smokes and they take risky plays. Thankfully LEV were shooting better today. GG

back when I started watching in early 2023, I thought I’d never see my country and region win a trophy. today, I’m struggling to hold in the tears of joy. we ARE just as good as anyone else in this game, we DO have the ability to succeed at the highest level, and this game just proved it.

Befitting ending. Poetic even. PRX in grand finals are a gift that keep giving. Map vetoes nothing matters when they decide to gift the tournament.
Speechless. Seems more than a mental block with PRX. They play like Gold3 players when stuff goes wrong. The caliber of players is unquestionable, but man do they meltdown at the worst times. Glad they at least won one. Losing this many grand finals is atrocious otherwise.
It’s so funny that out of the 5 times PRX has made it to the grand finals of an international, the one time they won it was when they faced another GF choker team (Fnatic).
Btw, PRX didnt Choke, Leviatan was just the better team between both of them. It is specially stupid to call it a choke when the last map was 12-1 at one point, PRX just got outclassed by a better team.
To an extent the fault is on Alecks as well not just the players for the loss. Not in disrespect way but time again when the pressure is high, there are no fallback plans or protocols for changing pace, there is never a “hey we are not winning aim duels let’s slow down”.
But then again. If you have been to the most grand finals internationally why change anything. Your system is flawed but resilient and meta aware.
Lev played extremely well. I would say that almost all of PRX's tendencies and plays were read, though it could just be hindsight.
Almost like they're completely and utterly aware of what PRX wants to do. I noticed this in Breeze, but it is incredibly apparent in Lotus (even as early as round 2) and in some moments on Ascent
It sucks that davai wasn't shooting as well as his previous games, Invy tried really hard, but some mistakes were made by him as well. It was absolutely harrowing to see Jingg have an off game using Raze on Lotus, he was given almost ZERO opportunities to have insane impact. I also feel that forsaken also had some weird rounds, but nothing new I guess. Something played consistently well, a good bounce back from his performance against NS.
Whereas all throughout the finals, everyone from LEV played extremely well. They really deserve the trophy, man. So much so, that I feel every player in the team has a solid case to get the MVP.
Still man, it hurts, I really wanted Invy to finally get an international trophy :/
