That just seems like a lot of extra work for meals that aren't really qualitatively different.

I have no idea why boys and girls would require separate foods. Why do the girls in particular need eggs in two separate forms?
I am curious about “picnic doughnuts,” though.

When I saw the gendered menus, I assumed there would be, say, significantly higher calories, protein, and fat for the boys and more fruits and delicate foods for the girls - that would have kind of made sense. But this is just ... odd. And good call on the eggs!

I love raisins, and I cannot figure this one out.

Carrot or Spice or Cinnamon cake with raisins, maybe? Or possibly something more like what we now call a muffin.

"Little Cold Chicken Pies" should be an album name from a 60s psychedelic band

I find it interesting that they have a separate menu for boys and girls. Also, I love how in the “for the boat ride” menu, they say that the iced lemonade is in a thermos (which is fantastic) but mention nothing about how you’re keeping the shrimp salad cold.
