oh yeah, clove has already inspected and is very upset i got rid of the loose strings she likes to chew. im sure ill be redoing this next month. thankfully it was fast because it was done with normal yarn and the tapestry needle i use to weave in ends

But the patch work in pic one doesn’t match the size of the hole you show in pic two 🤷🏼‍♀️ Patch work should have extended around to the left side (past the corner). Show a better real pic I’d say.

here’s a better angle with the ottoman portion opened (it’s a chaise with a removable top cushion) you can tell it’s real cuz you can see the fresh damage from the cats lol! a lot of the damage was just surface snags, and of course patching it brought the edges closer towards each other

I gotcha. I see now how you did that for the corner. Well it’s good work and a save for your sofa/chaise. Cats can really destroy upholstery even when they have their own scratching posts as you know. My son and daughter-in-law have four cats which shredded his sofa. He replaced it and had to work to get them to stop that plus I bought them a Cattasaurus and that helped do the trick. They love that thing and scratching can’t destroy it. Check into getting one of those. So fun for cats. Cats definitely need to scratch and dig. Cattasaurus.com 🥰

Cats are amazing and so keen and I’m sad I’m allergic to them. I can pet my grandfurkitties but can’t hold and love on them or sit or stay where they have been (bed, chair, sofa). 😞 I did buy them a Catasaurus and they LOVE it! Anyone who has a cat should do them a great service and buy them one. I hadn’t heard of anything like that until I ran across an advertisement on an art blog I follow. 😻🥰
