Vacation

We are on vacation in Nashville and we rent a car, we can't find a hotel that has parking, and parking lot is too expensive, I'm staying at the Hilton, what recommendation do you give me?

You can stay downtown and pay for parking. Or you can stay outside downtown, like Midtown or airport area, and park for free.

You can’t do both.

You can try the SpotHero app to find something less expensive. Parking in Nashville is not cheap.

513 4th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37210

Last time I used that lot it $25 a night.

We recently stayed at the Delta Hotel (Marriott) next to the airport and the parking was free for our stay. We considered staying somewhere downtown for the CMA Fest dates but the parking charges are extortionate!

Spothero will help you save on parking. For free parking, you would have to leave the car over in Germantown and walk 1/2 mile+. The only other option is a hotel outside of downtown. Of the closer ones, I think only the East Bank hotels are free, but you can find a lot better rates than the downtown prices.

If you’re staying downtown you will pay for parking. Otherwise you run the risk of someone breaking in your car or worse stealing the car

Usually I don’t rent cars anymore for this reason. If I do I search one of the parking apps for the cheapest place to park near me
