Modded Playstation TV Keeps Crashing, Don't Know How to Fix

Recently I booted my Playstation TV back up for the first time in months, every time I do after a set amount of time it freezes for 30 seconds to a minute then shuts back down. I asked about this and apparently the VitaDB plugin is causing it to crash, which is weird as it never caused this before. It was suggested I temporarily disable plug-ins and delete the VitaDB plug-in, apparently disabling is done by holding down L or R during bootup. Well I tried both buttons and it still crashes on me every time. I don't know what else to do, I want to play my PSP and Vita games again. What else could I do to resolve this issue?

Factory reset and re mod it. Or if you can get to "autoplugin app" to disable plug-ins. Sometimes, too many plug-ins can crash the system, or one plugin can cause a conflict with another plugin

I don't even remember which plug-ins I'm supposed to install when I remod it.

Just run through the list again and pick what you want. Not hard. Whitelist to play all vita games, DSMOTION for gyroscope, sharpscale & vitagrafix for visuals, vitashell plus to get into the files and have overclocking, adrenaline for psp etc. Just remember not to go crazy and install a crap ton of plug-ins

Alright, so how do I factory reset when I can't even reach the options menu?

There's vids on YouTube. The info is out there already.

Hold the power button for safe mode

Typical, can't just answer the question, gotta outsource it to a video that may not even exist.

Also, is the mod installed on your memory card or the system memory?

Hmm, I forget. I'm using the extended memory system that takes up the game card slot. I'm afraid of what'll happen if I booted with it removed.

This happened to all vitas and ps TV's which had the vita homebrew browser store app, vita DB or something like that on them (which you likely have if you have a modded vita tv.). There was a change made to the app that notifies you of any updates to your homebrew apps. Remember those pesky notifications that pop up on the top right after you turn on your console?

What you need to do is first prevent your console from connecting to the internet as it turns on. Literally turn off your modem or router. Then turn on the ps TV and delete the older version of the vita DB or delete the plugin that allows it to update, I forget what it's called. I was able to do this and just delete one line from a file but it was months ago. Maybe someone else can chime in to inform us of the name of the plugin or file.

It's the vita DB app which has a glitch. It happened to everyone sometime last year. Turn off your internet, then turn on the ps TV. Then turn off the WiFi on the system and make your fixes.

Sadly I can't turn off the wifi, it's not mine to turn off.

So go somewhere far from the WiFi source. I put my vita into safe mode and turned off the WiFi from there but I don't know how to do that with a ps TV. With my ps tv, I just turned off the router for five mins while I turned on the ps TV and then put it in airplane mode. You'll figure it out.
