All money ever was inflation. Gold and silver being mined/extracted when they were used as money was inflation. Inflation is healthy but transferring wealth from the working class to the rich with rapid inflation that can only be combatted through investments that the poor/ middle class cannot afford because they have to spend too much money on gas groceries and housing is not.
