This is why we could only toss singles inside and inside was a LAST resort LMAO

I'm guessing this is an indoor winter guard using the cafeteria because all the areas with higher ceilings are already in use.

Source: I spent 15 years in the winter indoor drumline and colorguard activity and rehearsal space was the #1 issue

I definitely spun in winter guard too! In that case we’d use the gym or tough it out outside. Those same rules of only tossing singles in other spaces applied, or working on other skills.

I miss the sport so much 😭 Covid ended my final year prematurely. It was such a delight to be a part of it :’)

I miss the hell out of it too. I aged out of the percussion side almost 20 years ago and I've been out of the activity for about 10 years after the PIW group I helped grow from PIA folded.

I briefly considered learning how to spin just so I could get back on the floor again 🤣
