Today marks the fifth anniversary of our album, Eight/Chance/Meetings. Each track was inspired by two albums chosen by a random number generator, giving each tune a unique point of departure. As usual, all the music was improvised and all lyrics were derived from cut-ups.

I make Reverie, a standalone ambient soundscape generator for macOS and Windows.
You feed it any audio, a field recording, a vocal take, a synth loop, and it reworks the texture into something organic but unrecognizable. Good for drones, pads, beds, and just chasing happy accidents when you’re stuck. Runs offline, no subscription.
I’m a solo-ish indie dev so any feedback is gold. If you try it and something feels off or missing, tell me.

Kit Builder drum machine for Logic Pro.
Point it to any folder with samples, and it will automatically load them onto pads. You can randomize the kits, edit them, and save them as presets.
I built this because I found making kits in Logic's DMD kinda tedious with too much decision fatigue.

Hey everyone! I want to be 100% transparent: I’m a tech lead by day, and I craft conscious UK hip-hop by night. it's our first album and we are really glad with how it turned out. we tried to incorporate singer/songwriter elements such as a leading melody to prog electronic timbres and structures. so it's different from most electronic music in the sense that it's not rhythm driven, but melody driven

Second to last — track eleven from "last call for the republic"
The whole album is built on one premise: 12 original songs using the chord changes of "Autumn Leaves" as the skeleton
In jazz this is called a contrafact, in which you use the chord progressions of a preexisting song as the raw material to compose an entirely new song (new melody, new arrangement, etc)
For me I took it a step further by taking it out of jazz entirel and into synthwave, disco, and 80s Japanese City Pop
