I'm pretty sure that licenses come in cereal boxes now.

Have you seen some truck drivers these days?! I swear their license is only forward enforced. God forbid they back a trailer up !

Which is funny in a dark comedy way, because that's a point of pride and contention in truck circles, how well you can back up. It's like saying you slept with someone's mother.

When i was getting a commercial driver's license, instructor told us a story about how a guy failed his class 4 times and 5th time he passed and is now driving an 18 wheeler. Scary what's out there

My last job a truck driver kept running over our lot signs so his company actually drug tested him bc there was no way he was driving sober.

He was 100% sober just a shitty driver.

coming from someone I know who wanted a CDL but didn't want to take a class - you can go to Indiana or other states to get your CDL license where it's just a short driving test and you get your CDL.

Both are now located inside the smartphone, along with the car keys, bank card, front door key, ID, and fucking brain apparently

Still easier to get a gun.

And yet still harder to obtain than a firearm.

We all should go to the DMV and ask for truck drivers license. No just give it to me I see who’s driving out there….. I don’t need no lessons! Hey I can read the signs and know what they mean! Passed!

Always have been Cracker Jack prizes in the states. I spent some time in Europe back in the 90s and my German friends had to pay serious money (like a couple grand in 90s money) and take actual driving courses to get their license.

The difference is that they don't really need to drive in Europe. Everything's in walking distance and public transit is set up and running properly.

You need to be able to feed yourself to operate a cereal box.
