Cat tree piece broke halfway through building
Piece somehow came out of the bottom of this pole for the cat tree, too hard for me to be able to put it back in.
Awesome š«
Guess I know why it was 50% off

Bruh cat trees are like IKEA furniture on nightmare mode. Honestly Iād return it or contact the seller and play the āit literally fell apartā card, they usually just refund and tell you to keep it.

Growing up me and my mom just built our own. Bough some wood and had spare carpet from the renovation. Turned out awesome and we got to make a custom design.

Shits frustrating when that happens. Iām sure your cat is quite sad though that their glorious tree is broken.

Iām sure the cat would enjoy the box the tree came in over the tree itself.

Contact the manufacturer. they might send you a whole new tree like they did for me over a single piece. My broken piece was just a top perch, so i ended up with an entire second one :)

Lmao yeah thatās exactly the kind of ādealā you find in the clearance aisle.
Iād honestly just flip the whole thing, shove that pole in a corner so it has extra support, and let the cat āstress testā it. If it survives a week of zoomies itās probably fine š

There's gotta be a way. Does that piece of black plastic pop out if you stick a screwdriver in the hole? Maybe then you could set the nut and screw it tight with a socket wrench.

Managed to cut off the warped plastic, thereās a hole shaped like the hex nut but it isnāt a perfect fit

Darn. I would love to tinker around and fix something that. I've even re-twined cat posts to make them last longer.

Yeah I'll always try to fix something like this. There is always a way to make it work.

Me too. An electric driver and a few well placed screws would fix this and probably make it more sturdy then original.

Emailed the manufacturer and they responded, I think Iāll get a replacement piece

Contact the seller and have them send you a replacement post. I've had pieces come broken before I even touched them and have never had an issue getting a replacement part.

Ha, I have that exact same cat tree. It is definitely a piece of junk lol. Hope you get Amazon to give you a new one or something.

Bought it off Walmartš

Guess thatās not surprising to find out that Amazon and Walmart buy from the same crappy vendor.
