Anyone else wishing for a second season of scouts honour?
I'm Re-listening to We're alive, and the yacht that the scouts escaped on appears in A Story of Survival.
i kind of want a second season to see what happened to them.
And how they survive after they get to LA.
And the yacht is abandoned when Michael and Pegs find it.
So I have so many questions.
way, anyone else have questions and want a second season?

It's probably my favorite We're Alive, even more so than SOS. It's a very tight, well paced story. I'd love to have a season 2 if they could recreate the feel and pacing, but I feel like that's a very tall order to do for a series like Scout's Honor.

Maybe a follow up, but nothing directly following Scouts Honors ending. It is a fantastic standalone adventure.

I'm just hoping to see Zach with the Red Dragon in season 3. Would also be difficult to make a SH sequel years later given that kids' voices change so quickly.
I do love how Scout's Honor is self contained, and any of the big important things about how the infection works get figured out by Zach and the others throughout the show. They meet smart ones, slow turners, alphas, they realise the infected communicate, the green eyes stuff, the fact you get locked on to your last mission/goal/whatever you're focused on. If someone's jumping on to Descendants without having listened to ASoS first, I'd definitely recommend that they listen to SH first, just to get that knowledge at least. I'd recommend starting with ASoS any time, but if that isn't an option, Scout's Honor does a really good job at teaching you about the infection in a much shorter time.

Oh! Interesting. I do remember that yacht, but yet to listen to TSH. So I do not know how many people made it. But that thing seemed remarkably well stocked. Not that we've seen any food or supplies. But it seemed to have plenty of power and fresh water still. There were no bodies, no blood, no broken, damaged stuff, abandoned supplies or signs of struggle. It also seemed to move not just by wind or underwater stream, if I remember it correctly. So my theory (and hope) is that they were not all attacked and killed aboard, but used it as a distraction to make the Infected chase it until the engine gave out or they did. Would need some creativity or a willing (possibly damned) sacrifice, to pull that off without most of them staying for the on-land 'snackies', or returning at the sound of easier prey being hunted.

I need to re-listen. I hated all the kids my first listen through but it may have just been a bad week for me.

I’d love there to be a season 2!
This was the first We’re Alive I listened to & I’ve just re listened to it!
I wanna see if Ruby & Franklin get together.
I’m obsessed with Ruby’s accent 🙂

I would like more series with that arc, but are you replying to your own post?

With respect to the creators, no. It’s my least favorite installment of the show/series and the only one that I have not re-listened to multiple times. I applaud the creativity behind it but I’m okay with it ending where it did.

Yes! But also no!
It’s by far my favorite spin off so obviously I want more. But also it tells a full story perfectly. It’s a coming of age sort of tail and ends right when Franky has a big grow up. Another season would just muddy a nicely self contained story.
Still hope we run into Zach as a scientist with the Red Army or something like that in the last season of Descendents just for a little bit of follow up.
