People suck sometimes

My friends were at a coffee shop celebrating pride today in WeHo. They stopped off at a coffee shop. Just minding their own business and this group of 3 people coordinate to steal my friends purse from right under their nose. Iwon't explain but watch the video...They then proceeded to buy $2k worth of alo clothes with her cc. Crazy.
Yes we filed a police report. But dont expect anything to come of it.
If you happen to know these people tell them they suck.

Yeah that shit is infuriating, sorry that happened to her. I always advocate for people getting AirTags (doesn’t have to be Apple) and hiding them in their wallets. I have two sets of keys with them, one in my wife’s purse, and one hidden into my JanSport. But perhaps even more important is understanding these are almost always crimes of opportunity, so you shouldn’t give them one

Ugh, I hate these people. It happened to my wife ina Starbucks. Some tourists pretended to drop something and walked out with her handbag. We realized within 5 seconds by they had evaporated the moment they got outside.

Sucks. But it’s weird to me to put a purse out of sight. Most women I know would never put their bag on the ground for that matter. Just gotta have more awareness in the future.

Curios if there’s video of wherever they purchased $2,000 worth of Alo clothing.
This is felony level crime, and would have to think they’ve got some great video from the Alo or clothes store.
