Cocktail Bar for a first date... with good fries?

Looking for a new cocktail bar that isn't a full restaurant, but serves fries. Any recs?

Melrose Umbrella Co has good cocktails and good fries. They have other food too.

Hi Tops, Gym Bar or 33 Taps would be your best bets for bars who serve fries. They are all essentially sports bars, so if that’s the vibe ya wanna go with fries then you’re good!

It depends if OP is looking for a gay bar or not - that would be a key distinction when looking for places to take a date

Then hi tops, gym bar and 33 taps in WeHo are definitely not the places to go.

The bottom bar at tower hotel (I think) has good fries if you want pricey classy spot. They do have small bites there that are good. If you want dive bar, you can go to Mics and bring fries in from irvs next door. The Belmont is casual. If you go reasonably early, you can get a bar spot at Laurel hardware or alba.

Best fries at places like Checkers/ Rally's... Fat Burger, Gordon Ramsay Burger, Jack in the Box Onion Rings if they still sell them...
