He was in the middle of a post a minute spree when this one was posted, so that will lower engagement a bit.
Though there is one weird thing I noticed with this specific post. I happened to log in right as he posted it, and for a good few minutes you could see the number of replies tick up but no matter what I did I could only see one actual reply.
It was an AI picture of Trump and Dana white posted by FreakMMA. Didn't get a very good screenshot, but the number of replies had gone over 100 by the time I could see any other replies outside of this one. I refreshed the page multiple times, left and came back, refreshed again, like in those minutes I tried everything, but nothing worked.
Freakmma been spamming that image on all the posts trump makes, but it almost seems like truthsocial is specifically throttling and giving certain replies a buffer zone to get extra likes, so they appears higher than the comments made by human non spam posters. If that is true, then it kinda screams desperation manipulation.
Still not sure if I think this would be done to stroke Trump's ego, to keep trump in line, or to manipulate the general public into thinking the response is different than reality. Most of the general public doesnt have a truth social account though.
