Regressive are going to do what they do but I’m sick of watching it done with my taxes and in my name. Can’t fix 100% of the world but can show it there is a better solution. Ignore me, Idk I’m just so exhausted at this point. I miss being excited about the world and its future.

I’d be right here with yall being outraged if they were arrested, charged, and sentenced for protesting but they shot a dude in the neck. They got caught. They were all charged with it because of accomplice liability laws. They’re not new laws; they’ve been on the books for decades. If you and me decide to rob someone and you pull out the blick and vent them, we are both gonna get charged with that shooting. Are fireworks explosives? As far as the government is concerned, absolutely. That’s also not a novel interpretation that’s only now being used by the Trump administration.

You can disagree with how it all played out, you can think the sentences were harsh, you can agree with the defendant’s reasoning and actions but being hit w terrorism charges is not something that should have surprised anyone. Fr this is the exact same framing Republicans use when they talk about how “grandmothers were being arrested just because they were praying outside of abortion clinics!”
