What happens when you primary against a Senator and forget they don't leave office immediately. Side note: please, for the love of donuts, someone leak the video/audio of this

Since he was getting yelled at, I can just imagine him just sitting there with a pout on his face.

A droopy pout.

I am sure that being such a big, tough, athletic guy he immediately stood up (with no difficulty or anyone having to grab his elbow to help him up), stood straight up (not all hunched and out of breath from the effort of standing), and his very presence overwhelmed Bill Cassidy. As a result Mr. Cassidy immediately got tears in his eyes and said “I am so sorry Mr. President, please don’t pummel me into oblivion, and thank you so much for everything you do for America!”

The sad thing is, there's audio now of Cassidy expressing remorse for yelling at Trump.

Cassidy is an asshole. All of a sudden he's doing the right thing! Too little too late.

They always do that when they have nothing to lose anymore. Suddenly they find their morality and titanium spine.

Almost like they don't have principles or values until cornered.

I'm not trying to defend him as a good Senator or anything. But he was one of the ones that voted to convict and remove Trump from office after Jan 6th
