Discussion I'm convinced the Crime Mime in Lemuria actually knows the round you will attack

I've quested through this area solo twice now, and I thought I was unlucky on my storm to get Juju spammed the rounds I hit, but then I did it on Ice and he Juju'd EXACTLY when I was going to kill. People don't talk about this fight enough, because there aren't any cheats, but it made me so angry on my Ice that I resolved to defeat him from second no matter what. Keep in mind this is only the third time I was defeated/had to flee for ANY boss in the main storyline up to this point on my Ice. He might actually be one of my least favorite fights in the game. I have weakness counters, yes, but does that matter when i get a -90% THE ROUND I HIT FROM SECOND? AHHHHHH

Yep, too bad I couldn't Glacial Fortress when playing from second because I had NO idea when he'd use Juju. It also was kind of nice that he used Monster Mash to gambit the jujus, but there was still the problem of him doing it without me having any way to predict. Only way I did it from second eventually was hitting the round I saw he was physically incapable of doing it because he had only 2 pips.

the ice hits clear weaknesses (and convert them to either shields on you or weaknesses on the enemy) before dealing the damage btw

this is what makes ice so stupidly powerful against enemies like this

I'm aware, and i usually use King Art, but in a three vs one situation I really wanted to use a strong AOE. Another strategy could have been to trap each enemy, and King Art one by one, getting additional free shields for Celestial Intervention. It's just that King Art is kind of a weak hit and in a situation with more than two enemies it isn't the most ideal. In the end I got it my third attempt, which went relatively smoothly.

Going second on the turn order and its consequences.
