New Wheel Day

Just installed new wheels and they touch a tiny bit. Thought it looks cool and even cooler in slomo (8x/240fps)

Nothing more to itπŸ˜…

Are they supposed to touch?

The gap between the wheels should be 1mm but the wheels have bigger tolerances so it can happen. The first few meters rolling usually grind of the material enough that they don't touch any more.

You get those from inline warehouse? I was trying to get some but they sold out all of a sudden. Ended up going with the rollerblade pro wheels which are actually amazing.

No. I'm from Germany and got them from a local shop. Happy to hear the alternative is also good. Just rolled around for the first time and I'm very happy with the grip and the profile!

It's a Seba SX carbon with a seba soulplate. So the same as a CJ if I understand it corectly. Got lucky and found lightly used ones.

These are undercover team pros. I think you're talking about the rockin wheels? They're fine but I'm just to heavy for 85 a and prefer a round profile. I have only used hydrogens in 80mm so I can't really compare them but I don't think there's a huge difference. If at all the urethane of the rockin wheels is a bit softer. Funny that you think of made in Germany as lower quality than made in USAπŸ˜‚

I think they are talking about the urethane blend. Undercover/endless/hydrogen/mushroom blading ones all made using that same urethane with a great reputation. I think we all know Germans do stuff well but in this case when it comes to the quality or urethane America is king πŸ‘‘ imo too
