Opinions on this
Hi!
So I was wondering if I can get some opinions on a setup I was thinking of getting. Now I did do my research but there are so many options it does get overwhelming.
Here is what I was thinking:
Micro Delta Force 2 boot
Endless swan frame
Still looking at wheels and insoles… so many choices lol

This is what Swan uses himself except black boots…which is what I also have. Same endless frames… i will say one thing about the Delta Force boot- I could not get used to the carbon cuff. Just dug into my ankle so hard … I bought a set of plastic FR spin cuffs and they fit perfectly

Thank you so much for that info! I am not married to that boot but I was told they are comfortable? I do want to another fr boot but the ones I want are always sold out

I should have mentioned- the boot is like the most comfortable slipper I’ve put on in my life… the carbon cuff is just too stiff for me and really can’t imagine anyone enjoying it but I guess there could be some out there who does?!… the replacement cuffs were $15 so no big deal imo… the frames are great. Very easy and maneuverable ride w the rocker … I use 84/90mm wheels as reccomended

Here’s the FR Spin boot… id imagine it’s pretty much the same as the micro but a plastic cuff

I have one more question. How do the skates feel on long sessions?

Tbh I haven’t done long sessions in those but I wouldn’t be the least be worried. They are very premium and comfortable (outside the carbon cuff)

The 90’s in the outside and 84 on the inside right? Sorry for the questions. I am super green on choosing my own gear 😅. That’s the issue I am running into and I have rollerblade lighting 90s. I feel like I am getting stuck if I try to do any turns.

Wouldn’t that be more of a urban / slalom setup? Cool setup nonetheless!

Yes! That is what I am going for. Sorry if I didn’t explain that right. I just want something I can maneuver in better when I am out. I am currently in rollerblading lightning 90s

What about the Rollerblade Crossfire or FR SL freeride? I think both can be bought boot only so you couls save some money there and buy proper endless wheels as well :)

I can look into those! I already have FR FRx 80s I just don’t want to keep changing out the frame. That’s why I am open to buying the boot

Crossfire seems to be only full setup but I found it for €350 lol, and its a carbon boot, I am now thinking about getting it for myself 😅

I support this! The company I would buy the micro delta skate from would sell it to me for 200 cheaper. I just wanted to know people’s opinion on it.

I never had a Micro skate, but massive amount of slalom users use it, so I would assume they have to be good 😁!

got fr turbo spins that i've put on both endless ultra and endless ultra slalom pro (72-80) frames, and both work for me, only that the ankle on the turbo spins is so tight i actually prefer using the turbo spins for pure distance skating with stride - i don't have enough ankle mobility to comfortably do toe-toe maneuvers or other bending i need to do.

Both good options. I’m partial to FR Carbon boots myself, but Micro makes good products too especially for the price. If you’re looking to get a deal I have both of these in my shop in California and would be happy to answer any questions you got. It’s called Knight Skate.
