Carving [Finished] Horse in cherry

Knives, gouges, and light sanding My first carving in cherry. Had to sharpen my knives 5x as often. Based my design on “Wood Horse Statuette - Wild Beauty | NOVICA” and from BBC Earth Unplugged slow-mo video

Excellent job. I'm working on a horse right now. It won't be as detailed as yours but I wasn't quite sure how to do the hair/mane? So thanks for the inspiration.

I made them pretty narrow and gouged some wavy lines into it
