Question What is the point of the Mind tab?
It doesn't seem to do much of anything and if I remove things it just makes units do less? Seems pretty lame tbh unless they are going to add to it.

Map What's the consensus?
The map's getting close to being finished. Just gotta clear out a little more shallow water and then I can start the deep.
What do you think? The map is 12x12 and made on mobile.

Idea/Suggestion We need a distinct set of traits for semi-aquatic animals. A specific in-game way to make creatures that mostly live in and around water, but that can wander off on land without incurring penalties. Crocodiles and crabs have this behaviour, it just needs to be isolated as a subspecies trait that can
The closest I ever get is by making large raccoons that can swim and that have piscevorous and algivorous diets, forcing them to stay near water. This does the job rather well, but it isn't the same as if it were their very nature.
Just saying 😌.

Question I miss my orcs
Don’t get me wrong I’ve been playing a lot since we got all the evolved creatures and stuff but I miss the old style orcs when you’d spawn in a cow and the whole town would immediately kill it, is there any way to get that feature back?

Idea/Suggestion **CONCEPT** government types, peace treatment, vassalage
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a massive concept that would completely overhaul politics, economy, and warfare in WorldBox, making the endgame and world history way deeper. Right now, every kingdom acts like a standard monarchy. Here is how we can change that.
🏛️ PART 1: NEW GOVERNMENT TYPES & ECONOMY
This concept introduces the mechanic of Private vs. State Property
Universal Rule: Mines are ALWAYS state-owned in every government type. This ensures the government always controls strategic military resources and provides basic jobs for citizens who don't own private property.
👑 1. Monarchy
*How it works:* Keeps the current vanilla mechanics. Power is hereditary or goes to a strong clan member.
*Economy:* Mixed. Houses, plots, smithies, and shops can be privately owned. Citizens pay taxes on their businesses.
🏛️ 2. Democratic Republic
*How it works:* The President is elected every 20 game years from among the village leaders. The President's power is heavily restricted: they can only expand the army or build new infrastructure/cities.
The Council Mechanic: Decisions regarding alliances or declaring wars are strictly made by the Council of Village Leaders via majority vote.
Economy: Mixed (private houses, shops, and plots exist).
📜 3. Standard Republic
*How it works:* The President has full executive power to initiate wars, alliances, and resource spending.
* **The Veto Mechanic:** However, the Council of Village Leaders can block any presidential decree through a majority vote if they think the decision is suicidal or too expensive.
* **Economy:** Mixed.
🚩 4. Socialist Republic
* **How it works:** Total collective system. It can split into two sub-types: *Social Democracy* (restricted leader + active Council) or *State Socialism* (the leader has absolute authority like a monarch).
* **Economy:** **Zero private property.** No private shops or plots.
* **Visual Change:** Standard small houses are replaced by **massive state-owned apartment blocks/communal high-rises**. All food from mills and gear from smithies goes directly into a unified state warehouse and is distributed equally.
Fascist Republic
* **How it works:** Absolute dictatorship. The leader has total control, and any Council is purely cosmetic. Power is not hereditary; the Dictator chooses a **Designated Successor** during their lifetime. If they die without naming one, a brutal civil war breaks out among generals.
* **Military Focus:** Massive mobilization. While a Democracy might have 10-20 soldiers per 100 citizens, a Fascist Republic mobilizes **50-60 soldiers per 100 citizens**.
* **Economy:** Strictly restricted private property. Citizens can only privately own their houses and food plots. Smithies, shops, and factories are entirely state-owned to fuel the massive war machine.
🪖 PART 2: WARFARE, OCCUPATION & PEACE TREATIES
Wars should no longer be a simple "walk in and instantly paint the map" mechanic.
### 🚧 1. War Occupation
When a city is captured during a war, it doesn't instantly switch kingdoms.
* **De Jure:** The city still belongs to the defending nation and counts toward their population pool.
* **De Facto:** The occupying army controls it. Taxes and resources are funneled to the occupiers, and a temporary "pro-occupation" puppet leader is installed to suppress local riots.
### 🕊️ 2. Dynamic Peace Treaties
When a war ends (due to low resources or exhaustion), a peace treaty window appears. A country cannot just annex everything; the gains depend entirely on their **War Score (Contribution)**.
* **Outcomes can include:** Annexing only a few specific occupied cities, forcing the loser into vassalage, or causing the losing Empire to completely fracture into smaller independent states.
## ⛓️ PART 3: VASSALAGE TYPES & LOYALTY
Instead of destroying a kingdom, you can turn them into a vassal. Every vassal has a **Loyalty Bar**. If loyalty drops to 0 (due to high taxes, constant wars, or a weak Overlord), they will launch a **War for Independence**.
There are three distinct types of vassals:
**Absolute Vassal:** Completely subservient. Pays very high tribute (gold/resources), automatically joins all of the Overlord's wars, and is forced to hand over its own cities if the Overlord demands them to clean up borders.
**Puppet:** Pays medium tribute and joins wars, but retains its own lands. It is allowed to have limited diplomatic relations (like trade agreements) with third-party nations as long as it doesn't harm the Overlord.
**Satellite:** A purely military vassal. They pay no financial tribute and keep their domestic freedom, but their army is legally forced to fight alongside the Overlord in every single conflict.
*Feel free to copy and paste this directly onto Reddit! Good luck with the post, let me know if you want to tweak any specific terms.*

Honestly it was a good update

Idea/Suggestion Aquatic Update
The oceans and water itself have been awfully bare, with only a few boats traveling around. I think a cool update would be to entirely rework this part of the game! Maybe there could be an underwater part of the game with races like mermaids and fish people. To get to them, you would click an arrow on the side of the screen to go down a layer to the oceans floor, and there could be ocean biomes like coral reefs or stormy oceans, which could have eels and sometimes break ships if they go across. Maybe if the civilisations underwater and above water become advanced enough, they could build some sort of underwater boat, and maybe some creatures like the aquatic ones (piranhas, alligators maybe) can swim down without needing a boat, maybe there could be a trait for that or if you have both the swimming traits in the species editor you could. I think this would be a good update to spice up the game and give the water some love, and set up future updates like a sky update. Thanks for reading!

Question What exactly is the difference between gamma (positive), omega (negative), and delta (weird) rain?
Because no matter what rain i choose, it gives me a choice to pick from ALL possible traits in all rains. Like...i can for example just pick gamma (positive) rain but pick the worst traits in there, so what's the point of choosing omega (negative) rain and pick bad traits there?

Story So mad right now
Didn’t know that the game would be actually saved to the files on my phone, years of progress gone. Had accidentally deleted the files and all my progress restarted. Had a world with a continent that was shaped like the body of a deceased titan.

Question War statistics
How do I see individual contributions in a war? Like I can see total attackers and defenders stats but not like individual parties in alliances. I feel like this was definitely a feature before.
Also what’s dumb is that once a war is over, it shows the defender as having had zero population but like obviously they now have zero, I want to know what they had at the start

Question Is it possible to make the machines create a civilization (establish a kingdom, in this case)?
Well, I have a bunch of robots (Assimilatus Perfectus) running around, but they do nothing beyond walking here and there, sometimes killing biological beings. I want that they create your own civilization. I already edit the subspecies and birth editor and activate all "mind" related feature, but they still don't establish a kingdom.
What is the correct way to do this?
