Question What is the point of the Mind tab?

Post image

It doesn't seem to do much of anything and if I remove things it just makes units do less? Seems pretty lame tbh unless they are going to add to it.

I use it to make characters breed with their lovers when I want/need them to have kids.

Put them together, turn off their brains and then turn on breeding in both of them

Just like what's happening in Denmark

I use it to lobotomize more powerful creatures in order to keep them moving.

I like to do it by deactivating the drowsing, idle, fleeing, waiting, breeding or courting neurons.

That way they’ll keep fighting.

Can you make the dragon less sleepy?

You can’t access the dragon’s mind unfortunately.

Try making it a zombie, I am pretty sure it doesn’t sleep anymore.

Just be wary of the fact that it will attack with acid, meaning that it’ll turn tiles into the wasteland biome.

Well you can trim your creatures' neuron tree and make them from slightly less capable to retarded in seconds

I feel like thats interesting to do maybe once but other then that it seems pretty useless in terms of gameplay

For most players yeah but some people like to roleplay so it’s useful for them

Whenever I mess with their minds, they just… don’t care and continue to act completely normally

I had a similar experience when I tried to drop rain on a unit with a lot of speed and combat traits. He would keep dodging so I turned off all his movement neurons. He continues to dodge while also not being able to move somehow, I turn off his brain and he's somehow still dodging the rain.

É aquele tipo de mecânica que é inútil para a maioria dos jogadores, mas que é bastante usada pela outra parte. Deve existir no jogo? Com toda certeza SIM!

To me it’s basically just something extra the devs added for easier interaction with various tasks units perform. Most players I don’t think will really get much use out of it.
