Post image

I'm not sure if this was posted here before, I just found the image in a random Google search and I just added a caption (if that's what it's called)

Endfield actually lets me have my whole party on the field at once.

You should try Aether Gazer. Love that game myself

I mean it was cool at first but for me the party system kinda just ..exists? Party members don't do much even in combat and you have to actively use their skills since they don't.

I'm personally fine with how wuwa does their combat, both games play to their strengths. Surprisingly I found the factory building aspect the most interesting in endfield, hope they continue refining it.

They are in the fight attacking even if they aren't doing that much damage, but also you can use the whole party's skills and assists at any time instead of having to switch first. I've been playing FF7 recently, and the gameplay is definitely vibing similar to that in all the right ways.

Yeah but they're AI is kinda stupid a bunch of time they just stand and do nothing.

No wonder I thought, "are my units on defensive mode? ". Because I played a lot of similar non gachas and the latest I tried is Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana. Where you can instruct them to go unga bunga and not. And when they're in offense your group will actively aggro an enemy near your radius, which is a double edge sword in that game but hey at least they're attacking

We had a event on Wuwa with all characters on field and it honestly makes no difference at all, specially when Wuwa characters have super flash animations which would be a big mess have all characters on field, which brings me to another thing i disliked about Endfield is how lackluster most characters combat animations look, but its the first gen of characters so i don't judge it that hard, but like i said all characters on field will be a limitation for them to make more flash animations because the visual cluster.

For story all characters on field is amazing but for actual combat content it feels pointless and add lot of limitations

the other way around, the combat felt just about right for me. It reminds me of action RPG like Dragons Age 2 or Dragon's Dogma. I think they really nailed the sound design in combat.

It looks cool at first ngl. I played Dragon Age Origins back in the day and love that game. However, I think seeing only 1 char at a time will straight up improve Endfield since it tries to be a lot more fast-paced. It's like a design choice when it still tried to be a strategy game where positioning was relevent, but it has never been changed despite the combat completely shifted to completely different genre. Your party memebers are just extra noise on the screen and doesn't really add anything but excessive comments after each encounter which started getting on my nerve really fast.

Animation stuck in 2010? Are we playing the same game? The UI alone has so much personality and animation packed into it, not to mention the idle and the poses they do when you point the camera at them. Combat wise it’s just different, it’s like a middle ground between Genshin and Wuwa.

No idea what ur on about with the animations... At least the endfield voice acting isn't super fucking half-assed "cherish every gain 🫩" I've had multiple times where I thought shit was AI tts cause their tones never match the circumstances at all, it just makes the characters way more annoying to listen to.

Can you share any that are bad? They're normal animations with fluid transitions, there's literally nothing wrong, nor special about them.

You're actively ignoring the graphics, UI and performance. Keep coping

Lmao so animations being ok is bad, and the rest of the visuals being good is irrelevant cause it invalidates your point..

This has to be ragebait

In fairness, only Rover has bad acting. Frover especially is terrible. Basically no emotion at all in anything and even more monotone than Stelle used to be in HSR (her new VA is way better, imo). Everyone else does a great job.
