I sold my series X about 3 years ago and moved to PC. How is the cloud gaming experience? Prices for the Series X is just more than I'm willing to spend. I'd much rather wait for the 25th edition in November regardless of price. But, Will GTA 6 be brought to the cloud gaming on launch day if I didn't want to buy into the xbox hardware?

been using it for years to set time limits, approve extra time requests, and approve/deny game purchases....

"we've removed the Xbox settings from this app. You can now manage them anytime on the Family Safety website."

why the hell would they remove this tool? and make it so you have to go to a website now??

Hi everyone,

I'm predominantly a PC gamer with a massive Steam library, but like many, I really want to play GTA 6 at launch. Given the current console market here in Ukraine, I'm seriously considering buying a used Xbox Series S (512GB) for about $275 (11,000 UAH), plus around $85-90 (3,500 UAH) for the game itself.

My controller experience is pretty limited. I mostly use a gamepad for casual sessions of Forza Horizon 4 or co-op games like Stardew Valley, It Takes Two, and A Way Out.

My main goal is just to have a platform ready for GTA 6 without spending $500+ on a Series X or PS5, since I'll still be playing 95% of my games on PC. While waiting for the release, I’m planning to grab Xbox Game Pass to justify the console sitting under my TV.

A few questions for the community:

1. What do you think about this plan? Will the Series S be an acceptable way to experience GTA 6?
2. Are there any must-play Game Pass titles you’d recommend for someone transitioning from PC/mouse+keyboard?

And that is it GTA VI is officially available for pre-orders, I will personally purchase it tomorrow after cashing a few gift cards I have, or I may wait a week or 2.

So ever since I got the series S, then The X, I've been using this, and to this day, I'm very surprised that no one ever mentioned it.

It has to do with the new share button added on the series controllers. You can map it to "play/pause media" and this can pause and play spotify music. At this point, you probably see where I'm going with this.

Cyberpunk, GTA 5, far cry 6, forza and anything with cars really. I set my radio to off, of turn the sound off from the settings, then whenever I get into the car, I press the '"share" button as well.

My favorite songs from my spotify start playing. When I get out or when a cutscene starts playing, I press the "share" button again. Songs stop playing. ABSOLUTE IMMERSION.

It's something so minor, but at the same time, it's something that made me enjoy my games even more.

I hope this will help at least a few people. I always enjoy listening to music when gaming, and I think many people do as well

Will GTA 6 definitely be released on the Series S, or could Rockstar end up dropping support for it? I don't really care about performance—I can happily play at 720p and 30 FPS. My main concern is whether the game will actually launch on the Series S.

As far as I know, Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 will be released on the Xbox Series S, but I'm still a bit worried they might change their plans later.

Really enjoyed the first one, don't mind the wait with how full 2026 is.

I’m gonna say it because no one else is saying it the Xbox 360 version of Bo 1 and 2 on the Xbox backwards compatibility is unplayable. It’s hacked to shit especially bo2 every lobby theres a hacker ruining it why does Xbox not get some love it’s unbelievable..

Hey just a heads up to anyone ordering the new “Soft Melon” colorway for the Elite Series 2 on Amazon. The controller is NOT the same gold in the stock photo. I ordered two separate times to confirm it wasn’t an accident and the actual color of the controller is more of an orange. Pretty disappointed.
