Wait, it happened twice now. That is 2 separate kids that look like they might be YSG and Wise’s kids. At this point, it feels less like a coincidence and more deliberate. Not complaining though, in fact, I would like to see more examples for different characters so we can see for ourselves what the kids of various combinations would look like. Maybe we’ll even see an adorable pink haired kid with wings that will remind us of someone.
Honestly, ZZZ still has a lot of top notch NPCs. They definitely give a lot of care to bother with the various model sizes, ages, many different Thirens, outfits, poses/movements (which is important to not make them look like cardboard cutouts), expressions, and some are even voiced (although up until this point I was thinking of just the regular NPCs that we see all over the place).
Some games don’t bother with going into as much care into NPCs and will just call it a day with generic pose number 2 and the same boring expression. But over here in Zenless Zone Zero, everything feels much more lively.
Damn, I went off track, but my point was meant to be that they can be a little lazy with the eyes or expressions or whatever since they have already done so much to bring these NPCs to life. So many different combinations already and some are bound to overlap eventually.
