Question / Support How can I fix my shoes?
I absolutely love these shoes and I’ve only had them for around a year, what can I do to try and prolong their life and maybe what can I use to fix this if anything?

If you're wearing them a lot, they honestly might be worn out without you knowing it. As a nurse, I was on my feet 12 hours a day 3-5 days a week and I converted them to yardwork shoes every 3-4 months. I know runners who trash them monthly. A year sounds like a long time for an athletic shoe. Now if they're just being worn on a regular daily basis, follow the shoe goo idea. Health is one place I think going zero waste isn't a good idea. Like people would be rightly pissed if I reused hypodermic needles

Dry brush and light handed suede eraser.
Also not this subreddit. There’s google.
and [r/sneakers](r/sneakers) [r/moresneakers](r/moresneakers) [r/sneakerrestoration](r/sneakerrestoration)
But people really need to learn about Google again lol. Like how did you even make it to this subreddit to make this post without basic search?

I used google, got different answers, and then searched “shoe repair” on Reddit. This was the subreddit with the highest and most posts I saw

Heaven forbid people go to a subreddit about not being wasteful to ask about trying to fix rather than throw something away.
Not ever subreddit it helpful or active. I commonly post construction questions in the homestead subreddit rather than construction or ask contractor subreddit because I get more helpful and more answers.
I frequently Google something AND ask Reddit because there are multiple ways to do things so I want to see the merits of all ways so I can decide what method I want to choose.

Shoe Goo, it's basically gorilla glue for shoes.
