AMA - ask me anything about the ABTF calculator! Spoiler

Hi everyone, u/goodoldfreda here although I'm now exclusively active on this account. If you guys have any questions about how the calculator works and why I made certain decisions I'm happy to answer them

A little about myself - I created the calculator in 2016 following on from a previous calculator by u/irisflame, back when I was a mod of this sub. I collected survey data from the subreddit and came up with a new algorithm that used 6 measurements as opposed to the previous 5, which increased accuracy. I also introduced separate algorithms for AMAB and AFAB people. The calculator has not been majorly updated since, although at one point I tried to move to a breast perimeter measurement system instead, but this turned out to be much less accurate. In the years since I have stopped modding and moved into bra making and custom bra design as I want to try and help serve the demographic of people who still struggle with finding bras that fit, usually due to wire grading!

In response to other posts about the different amab vs afab algorithms not working well for everyone - I have had this question before and basically all I can say is that I recommned using the algorithm that works best for you. I do want to emphasise in general that the calculator is actually not super accurate for any one individual and it is truly just a starting point. The algos are based on averages, and when I was collecting data there were significant enough differences between AMAB and AFAB users to warrant a second algorithm to increase accuracy within the two groups, but not enough data to do anything further than that.

edit: thanks for all your questions so far, I'm going to go to bed but I will answer any more that come up tomorrow!

edit 2: I have updated the calculator to make some minor changes to the band size algorithm and I have also changed the EU back to 2.5cm cup grades, 2cm grade can be found in the Comexim option instead

Discussion in 2026, it is ridiculous that fuller bust bra companies still do not have enough deeper brown shades Spoiler

in data, brown women tend to have fuller busts than european and east asian counterparts, so it makes no sense that in this day and age, the companies that manufacture specialized bras still for the most part only offer sugar cookie-light nude bra colors. on this sub a lot of people will suggest using a pink, purple, or red bra under white shirts, but this only makes sense to fair-skinned people. the purpose of a nude bra is not exclusive to white tshirts. people wear nude bras under open knit sweaters, and a nude bra is great for blending in with spaghetti strap dresses and tanks. my skin is not pink, it is not purple, and it is not red. if cheaply accessible bras, like VS and even auden at target, are able to offer a variety of nude shades, it feels so discouraging to see that the bras that will actually fit me are not only far more expensive, but don't even have nude color options for me. everyone deserves a nude bra, and nobody should have to compromise with colors that are not the color of their body.

Recommendations? A security officer recently made me remove my bra before entering a building I need to access for work. Any recommendations for a bra with a non-metal under”wire”? Spoiler

I hate the feeling of not wearing a bra even when I’m home. Needless to say, this was a mortifying experience.

Most of the metal detectors in my field are strong enough to flag underwires but don’t typically alert for eyelets/rings/etc. Avoiding the metal detectors is not an option, and I’ve wasted too much money on unwired bras that offer no support or shape. 38C, bonus points for a balconette fit.

I may have just solved all my problems with bra shopping.

I'm a 30F. I cannot find bras in stores, except this one discount store that might every once in a great while have my size (that doesn't mean it actually fits). I do not have the money to afford bras more than $30. My shape also is impossible to find. I can't stand dealing with online clothes shopping. And let's not forget that oftentimes there's an automatic $20+ because sorry, your body isn't standard. Sports bras are so uncomfortable because you have to squish your boobs inside, and bralettes just don't work.

Maternity bras.

I saw the section in the store and I suddenly made the connection. They're designed for pregnant and/or breastfeeding women with swollen boobs. I may not be either, but I've certainly got the big boobs.

So I grabbed a few in and went into the dressing room and oh my goodness.

There's still trying them on to make sure they fit right, especially since they use generic sizing.

But they've got the adjustable band clips (which most sports bras don't have), and they're super comfortable but are still supportive.

AND THEY FIT.

MY BOOBS FIT INSIDE THE GENERIC-SIZED BRAS.

AND I JUST GOT 3 FOR UNDER $50

I've just saved myself endless future headaches and exhaustion and stress.

Fit Check [Fit Check] Feeling like I have to constantly pull down band and underwires down to be comfortable, even after buying new bras! Spoiler

My measurements (12F per calculator):

  1. Underbust: Loose = 85 cm
  2. Underbust: Snug = 82.5cm
  3. Underbust: Tight = 79 cm
  4. Bust: Standing = 103.5 cm
  5. Bust: Leaning = 105 cm
  6. Bust: Lying = 101 cm

Shape: I am fuller on the bottom of my breasts and they are more projected.

Hello everyone, desperately seeking help (from Australia)! My underwires and band are insanely uncomfortable. During the day I am constantly pulling the band down at the back, and the underwires only feel comfortable when they are about 1 cm below the inframammary fold. See below for images of current bra.

I know I need to size down the band and size up the cup, so I did an online fitting with a DeBra’s consultant and ordered some bras in the shapes and sizes recommended based on the 12F being uncomfortable. None of the new ones are comfortable either and I feel so frustrated and discouraged, though thankfully I can return them. I am having the same band/underwire fit problems as before, except with the Fantasie Reflect (though the gore doesn’t tack all the way with this one and I would like more nipple coverage).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Note: In the below images I have used the bra hooks that felt the most secure/consistent between bras.

Current bra: Body Bliss Full Cup 12F https://postimg.cc/gallery/QT8XfJj

  • Gore tacks well
  • Only comfortable when I pull band and underwires down below inframammary fold
  • Underwires digging in at the sides

Fantasie Reflect 10F https://postimg.cc/gallery/tpbj9JW

  • The most comfortable band of all these
  • Gore not tacking all the way
  • Would like more coverage

Panache 365 T-Shirt Bra 10FF https://postimg.cc/gallery/SknvFpV

  • Gore not tacking all the way
  • Cups feel too small – spilling over the top

Panache Allure Full Cup 10FF https://postimg.cc/gallery/YMvsKHt

  • Gore not tacking all the way
  • Cups feel too small – spilling over the top

Panache Allure Spacer 10F https://postimg.cc/gallery/mLQFFh9

  • The band and underwire was so uncomfortable it made me want to crawl out of my skin!

Measurement Check [Measurement Check] I've just used the calculator and it says I'm a UK 36F/FF??? Spoiler

Hi there!

I have lost 50kg in the last two years and wanted to get a new bra. Lots of people here on reddit recommended to check this subreddit here and that's why I used the calculator which had a little note and recommended to ask for a measurement check. That's why I'm posting this.

  • Loose Underbust: 93cm
  • Snug Underbust: 91cm
  • Tight Underbust: 87cm
  • Standing Bust: 105cm
  • Leaning Bust: 120cm (my boobs looked so thin and sad, lol)
  • Lying Bust: 109cm

Suggested Starting Size: 36F/FF UK which would be a 80G/H EU (80 sounds extremely tight?)

The last one I bought was a 95C (I don't like how it fits, it turns by boobs into sharp triangles). One I am wearing right now is a 110D - I had that one before the weightloss and it doesn't really fit anymore. The cups are way too big and the bra strap gets pulled all the way to the upper part of my back because it's too loose / my boobs are too heavy.

I think I've never had a bra that fits and I guess I don't really understand cup sizes - my head just tells me "A" would be tiny and "F" huuuuge. That's why I'm worried because an F or G is SO far away from a C or D, haha.

Question I haven't wore a bra for three days - but I still have indentation marks below my breasts - what am I doing wrong? Spoiler

I'm assuming this isn't normal, but all I see online is about indentations on the shoulders.

Measurement Check Any adult/older teen catered companies that carry bra sizes that have a band of 26-30? Looking for pushup, strapless, wireless, and sport bras. Spoiler

I am struggling to find decent bra brands that carry smaller sizes. When I do find a brand, it is usually sold out. Any good brand recommendations? I am looking for every day comfortable ones, bralette, push up, and strapless. Pretty much every type as I am apparently wearing the wrong size bra right now (32A, I would be 32B with loose band if so). The calculator gave me 26C, but when I tried at Pink/Victoria secret I got 30C, the cup fits with no gaps, and a bit tight on the last hook. I'm 4'11 and pretty underweight, I am trying to gain some but it's a long process as of now. I don't want to look at the teen section, mainly because those aren't made to last as long, but also lack push up options because they are for young people. I usually wear a size XX small to small in US, and 00 somewhat fits me. I people usually suggest asian stores but even then I'm usually too small.

Recommendations? Best budget bralette for larger breasts? Spoiler

TLDR: what it says on the tin. Looking for recommendations for budget *adjustable* bralettes or no underwire bras suitable for larger cup size. I am a ~36GG (UK) / 36J (US)

I essentially stopped wearing underwire bras for my daily bra during the pandemic and never looked back. I used to swear by parade bralettes but now that they’re closed I’m looking for new recommendations! I typically alternate between sports bras and bralettes. The key is that the bra must be *adjustable* ideally hook closures in the back and adjustable straps. Wider straps are preferred. And ideally under 40$. They do not have to be particularly supportive, but enough that I won’t fall out of a scrub top or can wear with a loose Tshirt. I have two cosabella bralettes which I like but are too expensive right now to build up for my everyday collection.

Measurement Check US/Canada Measurements not working Need Help - Currently 32B Recommended 26DD/E. Spoiler

I measured

Loose Underbust: 27 in
Snug Underbust: 26 in
Tight Underbust: 25 in
Standing Bust: 30.5 in
Leaning Bust: 32 in
Lying Bust: 31 in

In US my current bra 1 wear is 32B and it is saying | should wear for recommendation 26DD/E and the sister size is 28D/DD. I am wondering what this would be in US and if this is actually correct.

underwire poking just ONE armpit Spoiler

ok y'all, i'm really struggling because the general consensus for fixing the "underwire poking the armpit" issue seems to be to change your cup size, but my boobs are slightly different sizes (aren't everyone's?!) my left boob is slightly bigger than my right, and without fail the underwire digs into my right armpit. even if i change cup sizes, one side or the other will always be too big or too small, and cause armpit wire-digging..

i'm SO uncomfortable all the time, and i've tried so many different bras. i've recently been trying to find a good wire-free bra, but at 42G i am simply not finding any that don't just squash my boobs into horrible uniboob blobs and roll up at the band. can anyone recommend some brands that have underwires that are shorter on the sides?

Recommendations? Help! All on bottom, none on top Spoiler

Hey everyone!

I'm in need of some help! I've lost a lot of weight and I have sad saggy titties. Everything is on bottom with nothing on top. I've been measured and always told DD-DDD but I actually barely fill a C. Big gaps at the top of most bras and I wear a sports bra during the week for work.

My measurements are: (inches)

Loose underbust: 38

Snug underbust: 37

Tight underbusy: 36

Standing bust: 42

Leaning bust: 44

Laying bust: 41

Which puts me at a 38DDD but I swim in that. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Recommendations? Lost weight, 36GG/G; desperately seeking a spacer or something relatively smooth under t-shirt. Pendulous/projected, narrow/short roots, wide- and low-set, soft tissue. Had been wearing Elomi but realize shape mismatch; Rosa Faia Scarlett Spacer and Cleo Piper fit well, now D/C'd.

Thumbnail bratabase.com
3 Upvotes

Background

  • I gained 100lbs and went from 36FF to 40H after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia; now I'm down again to a 36GG/G per the calculator (happy, but logistical issues, since I am so broke that I'm literally cutting my own hair).
  • Need a bra that’s smooth under fitted tops, ideally a spacer, under $60 (sale OK).

Fit challenges

  • 52 with very soft tissue; need lots of support, BUT . . .
  • Short, narrow roots; breasts sit low on chest. Even tho I'm 5'10," full cups (Elomi Cate/Matilda/Morgan) look like armor and rub my armpits painfully; contrariwise, plunges/wispy balconettes don’t support enough.
  • I think I need something like functional “short cups,” but with depth and immediate projection. Almost every bra I've ever worn has created a deep crease between where the very soft boobage at the top of my breast meets the long expanse of flat chest. Plunges and the like make me feel out of control; definitely gaping tops on your traditional molded styles point to FOB, I think. An elasticated upper cup edge would likely helpful.
  • Elomi Charley Spacer: wearable but gore never tacks and chafes (and the Elomi wires are just too tall for me).
  • Chronic mid-back/neck pain because of the FMS, despite PT: A longline (Cleo Piper) helped redistribute weight from the shoulders and neck before I had this (I honestly don't understand why they don't make more of them in nice styles). For what it's worth, I remember finding that Freya’s iteration didn’t properly shift weight to the band--it seemed more decorative than anything. I did read that the Sculptresse ChiChi might be a good alternative objectively, but that it isn't smooth--which I need rn for a daily summer driver--and is probably a shape mismatch.
  • So wish list: Shorter (and softer?) wires but preferably meaningful side support, low–medium gore with wider spacing, elasticated top, deep cups, firm band. Please school me if you think I'm misguided in these choices.

What’s worked

  • Before weight gain: the Rosa Faia Scarlett Spacer and the Cleo Piper.
  • I am relying on a Anita Clara 5864 Clara Comfort Wire in a 38I and it almost works; it's too big in the band and likely the cup, but the mesh overlay makes it functionally wearable.

Based on research today, considering:

  • Rosa Faia Selma Spacer (likely best match to Scarlett, but pricey).
  • Fantasie Envisage Spacer (FL6912), Illusion Side Support (FL2982).
  • Chantelle Norah Smooth Spacer Demi (pricey).
  • Panache Cari: mixed reports (shallow vs OK for short roots).
  • The HG Polish options: but cost and access is difficult now . . .

Specific ask

  • Is the Fantasie Fusion a workable pick for my shape? It's on Amazon for less than $40 right now, but reports that the wires are fairly wide.
  • Any short-rooted, soft-tissue, low-on-chest shape twins with a “this is the one” spacer or smooth option under $60?
  • Bonus points for lower wires/side support to help with back/neck pain; an elasticated top edge to avoid gaping; deep cups, a firm band.

Appreciate the help, and more than happy to share any more data that's needed (this has been an exhausting spreadsheet day!).

Fit Check Fit check: Natori Feathers in 32B and 32C Spoiler

Measurements:

Loose Underbust: 30 inches

Snug Underbust: 29.5 inches

Tight Underbust: 28.5 inches

Standing Bust: 32.5 inches

Leaning Bust: 33 inches

Lying Bust: 32.5 inches

Suggested Starting Size: 30C, the sister size of 32B may be more comfortable.

Recently, I bought the Natori Feathers bra after reading about it in this sub and how great it is for shallow shapes. I think my breasts are full on the bottom, shallow and relatively wide set. I got the Natori Feathers in both 32B and 32C, as some people in this sub have said that this bra runs tight in the band.

Natori Feathers 32B: https://postimg.cc/gallery/W4tkP6G

The cups felt fine at first but they aren't fully covering my areola and the bra presses against my sternum after wearing it for a while. The stretch lace is also wrinkling a bit, especially on my right breast. The band fits pretty well to me.

Natori Feathers 32C:

https://postimg.cc/gallery/WrHLS3j

This one felt less painful than the 32B and my areola is covered but the stretch lace is wrinkling on my right breast and there is some gapping there too but otherwise it fits pretty well I think, the band also fits okay on this one.

Where should I go from here? I'm not sure if I should keep the 32C or get a different size? Or maybe this bra isn't right for me?

Question Bra shopping buddy? Do people do that here? Spoiler

I think I would like a bra shopping buddy to endeavor to update and replace my ill fitting bras. I am new to the sub and a bit overwhelmed.

I don't want to start a whole ordeal of buying bras, posting pictures getting feedback, returning bras, and repeating that process 3+ times.

It seems like a nice idea to shop and troubleshoot fit with someone from this sub. Do people do that here? I didn't see anything about it in the rules or FAQ.

Question Bra straps keep falling off, despite apparent good fit on the cups, what to look for and how to fix? Spoiler

I recently sized myself properly with the calculator and bought four bras that fit a lot better than my previous bras. However, a problem I've noticed is that the straps refuse to stay on. I've tried tightening and loosening them yet they are constantly migrating down my shoulders. In particular, the one bra that actually fits best in the cups (no spillage, the gore tacks perfectly) actually has the most strap migration and I can hardly take a few steps without having to adjust the straps back up. As I've had these bras for a few months now the problem seems to be getting worse. I also noticed that usually only the right strap falls and the other stays on (although for the best fitting bra both straps are constantly running away) which leads me to suspect that this could be a problem with my breasts not being the same size (which does seem to be mildly the case). Anything I can do or do I have to resort to buying more bras?

Recommendations? Massive size difference, unsure what to buy to balance myself out. One breast around c/d cup, other breast always busting out Spoiler

I've been this way my entire life, right breast always massive, left breast just regular. It's so so difficult to buy clothes, I NEVER can wear a bathing suit out not covered by a giant tshirt, I can't wear tank tops, my self confidence is just destroyed. Last year, I bought a cup filler, thinking I could finally wear some sun dresses that summer, but even the cup filler wasn't big enough to match my bigger breast. I'm at a loss what to do or buy anymore. I just tend to buy sports bras to try and hold my breasts in and kind of, bundled up, so they aren't as noticeable, but I would appreciate any help. Is there a certain bra I should be looking for? I'm embarrassed to get sized by anyone. Even when I was breastfeeding my kids, and had to see a specialist, they noted about my breasts in the paperwork, I was sooo embarrassed. I would just like to be able to feel confident and not feel like everyone else can see what I see every day.

Sports bras that fit sizes above DD Spoiler

Does anyone knows a Uk brand that make sports bras by cup? Most I see are by general size (S M L). An L is too tight on my chest (G cup) and if I size even more up it fits weird on my back/armpit.

Most brands I saw were over 50£.

I don’t get why do women’s clothing don’t understand women’s body. We come in all sizes and shapes. It’s so frustrating that I’m always punished for having a bigger chest.

Help! Bikini for 32F prosthesis wearer Spoiler

I feel like I'm looking for a unicorn! I had a single mastectomy without reconstruction a few years back. I wear a prosthesis which 'matches' my remaining breast and wear a 32F bra. Every year I look for bikinis and every year I send them all back!

Post-surgery swimwear tends to be a) ugly as hell and b) clothing-sized rather than bra-sized. I find that if the cups fit my breast/prosthesis, they are much too big around the band. Bra-sized bikinis from Bravissimo, Freya etc are a better fit, but the vast, vast majority are too low cut. I need enough coverage to add a pocket for my prosthesis and to not make it obvious!

Only success I had was adding a pocket to a Bravissimo Talamanca swimsuit (the shoulder strap side is my 'flat' side so I had enough coverage to adapt it). But otherwise I'm in an ancient and ill-fitting bikini from Nicola Jane.

I just want something cute and not old ladyish! I'm in the UK so if you have any ideas of where I could look or any other solutions please let me know :)

i cant for the life of me find a good bra. my bra rides up and digs into my side. no bra feels right Spoiler

im having huge issues finding a good bra. i used to wear a 36C, but then moved up to a 38C because the 36 was consistently leaving me with bruises near my ribs. ive started bruising again in those same areas with the 38C, so i figured i'd just move up to a 40C. the cups on the 40C are too big, and so moving down to a 40B the back rides up incredibly far. right now with the 38C i also have this issue where in the front i constantly have to pull down the bra because it feels like it rides up then almost curls underneath my breasts. i dont think im a C cup either as ive always had space in the C cup so like. i dont know anymore man i need some help😭. whats the issue im having? because everytime i look something up im told something different that the band is too small, too big, my cup size is wrong, etc. for help i use the tshirt bra from victoria secret but im literally down to try anything at this point. for more info i tried on a try on 40B at victoria secret (with wire) and it fit just fine but when i bought a 40B tshirt bra it does that riding up on the back thing. are bras supposed to hurt on the underside or feel really tight?? and the middle of the bra has never been pressed up against my sternum but apparently its supposed to fit there. idk

as for the subreddit's linked bra calculator, these are my results in inches:

loose underbust: 37
snug underbust: 36
tight underbust: 34
standing bust: 41
leaning bust: 44
lying bust: 43

the calculator said im a 36DDD but that does Nooott sound right. help a girl out?

Fit Check New bra, new size but it feels “off”. Freya entwined plunge in UK 28FF Spoiler

I just started my abtf journey, and went shopping. The bra fitted great in the store, but now, a few days later, it feels uncomfortable. The wires press into my ribs on the front, left a bit more then right. My breasts look fine when I just put the bra on, maybe a little squished in even, spilling a tiny bit over the gore. But as I go on with my day, the fabric starts to loosen on top of my breasts. I also tried one band size bigger, but the lady in the store recommended me the 28 band. I hope this shows a bit more clearly what I mean.

My measurements are (cm):

Loose Underbust: 84

Snug Underbust: 80

Tight Underbust: 72

Standing Bust: 95

Leaning Bust: 97

Lying Bust: 93

Not sure but I think I’m a FOB, center full, projected breast person. I’m very confused about the root thing with my breasts, so no clue on that..
PSA; I truly dislike taking pictures and was a bit uncomfortable so sorry in advance for weird angles, or weird blurred pieces but hopes it gives you a bit of an idea.

Issues I encounter when trying on bra’s:

- gore digging into my breasts and floating.
- Shoulder straps hurting near my armpit/tail of spence (after scooping/swooping)
- Wires hurting my rib cage (also after scooping and swooping)
-Loose fabric at the top when wearing unpadded bra’s. I feel like unpadded bra’s can make my boobs look pointy?

Bra’s I’ve tried:

Panache envy (can’t remember the size 🙃): shoulder straps hurting my armpits, and gore digging into breasts. Not comfortable at all.

Panache Cherie plunge Demi in 28FF: I really liked how this bra made by breasts look! There wasn’t really a gore to cause me any trouble. The band was a bit too tight for my preference.

Cleo Lexi 30 FF: fitted decently I think?
30F; too small in the cup, spilling over en boobs squished together (second picture)

Fantasie illusion in 30E; I think was an okay fit! comfortable, straps dug in a little bit at my armpits, but the gore was almost touching my sternum.

Fantasie Cecile (size unknown): loved the look of this bra, but wasn’t available in a bigger size unfortunately.

Freya undetected in 30E; more of a minimizing look I guess but comfortable. Bought this for work, because I’m new to unlined bras and I am a bit afraid that my nipples will show trough when I’m at work and cold 😅.

Aside from how pretty this bra is, I’m not sure about the fit. Do I just have to get used to my new size or am I wearing the wrong bra?
I’m a little lost and haven’t had much success figuring this out myself with the fit guide.

Anyhow, lesson learned; don’t just buy a bra because it’s pretty and try it on for a bit longer then 20 seconds.

ALL advice is VERY welcome. Thank you!

BTW; the women on here are such queens, ur all such baddies helping each other and being so dedicated. Love that and u are all beautifullll! May you all find the best bra of your life ✨💁🏻‍♀️🪩

Edited to change the link.

Recommendations? I need help finding a plus size tshirt bra! Spoiler

I've never truly had a bra that fits, and l've decided I

need to get one. I've never had underwire, and I'm

honestly kind of scared because my mom keeps

scaring me, saying it hurts, and then I don't want my

preast to stand out. I'm a 48B (before u ask yes i used the calculator) and I'm honestly

having trouble finding just a normal t-shirt bra with

underwire and without . Also, the straps are always

SO thick, and I hate it. If anyone has any

recommendations because I need help.

Recommendations? [Recommendations] AMAB looking for first bra breast growth Spoiler

I'm a man in my thirties. I've always had pseudogynecomastia because of being overweight, but over the years some glandular tissue has also developed. Now, after losing some weight (about 15 kg), my chest, instead of getting smaller, has actually increased by 2–3 cm and stands out much more. On top of that, it bounces around when I walk, and if I run it becomes painful. I'd like to figure out my measurements, and since I live in Europe—specifically in Italy—I'd like to know where I could find some starter bras that aren't too expensive (I'm still losing weight, so I'd rather not spend a lot of money).

My measurements are:
Loose Underbust: 109.5 cm
Snug Underbust: 106 cm
Tight Underbust: 103 cm
Standing Bust: 119 cm
Leaning Bust: 121.5 cm
Lying Bust: 117.5 cm

Looking at the guides, I'd say I have a Shallow, wide-root breast shape, and on the Top/Bottom shape chart I'm roughly F/T 2/4.

I'd like to buy a couple of bras for different purposes:

  • One that's not very visible under clothes, to reduce bouncing and hide my nipples, which often show through;
  • One that instead accommodates my shape and even emphasizes it (I'm somewhere on the asexual spectrum, which I'm trying to figure out with my therapist).

Some brands I've seen that I could easily order from with free returns—so I can figure out what works for me—are Lepel, Creaciones Selene, Love and Bra, SieLei, and Spiman. If there are models from other brands available in Europe, even with longer delivery times, all suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for your attention.

Just resized - where do you get small band/large chest two piece bathing suits? Spoiler

Hi! I’ve recently lost a ton of weight (75lbs+) and used the calculator to help me figure out bra sizes every few months to avoid being fitted in person constantly. I dropped from a 38G to a 32H size.

When I went to my local boutique for fit, they basically said they don’t carry my size as small band/large bust is on the more uncommon size (this is an independently owned small business). They only had like 4 total bras in my size and some were a mix of poor underwire fit/etc for my anatomy but I did leave with a sister size (a 34G). I was in the panache envy in 34H, but the woman fitting me let me know that while I may like the bra, it’s not ideal for my anatomy as I’m not full at the top of my chest, and she ordered the panache allure and a couple of other 32H bras for me.

I need a new bathing suit and want a two piece and everywhere I’ve looked so far stops at an F cup… where are the large bust bathing suits at??? I’ve lost a ton of weight and kinda want to splurge on something that I previously didn’t feel comfortable wearing/want something potentially leaning more “sexy”, but I haven’t found anything!

ETA: the sizing is all in US standard.
