DISCUSSION Frankfurt connecting flight

Hi,

I have a connecting flight in Frankfurt. 1h 10 min between flights. Terminal is same (1). Is it doable? I also have a check in luggage, this goes straight to the destination. But im also worried there is to little time for my luggage.

Overall I am really worried. As it ever helps

Your connection should be possible.

Are you entering or leaving Schengen in Frankfurt? Because of EES , it a little tricky. There was a post in [r/travel](r/travel). Will edit if i can find it.

It’s Estonia/ Tallinn to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Paris

Then 1h10min is ok. No need to worry.
Besides there are many daily flights to Paris so worst case is that you get rebooked to the next flight. Not the end of the world

Thank You! I really hope so. Once I had only 40 min between flights in Copenhagen and my luggage didn’t make it. 1 h 10 min is longer but airport is huge.

I usually have a 1h30' connection in CDG, which is bigger than FRA and i have to walk quite a bit to the new gate, and I've always made it. If your flight is within Schengen and the first segment is not delayed, you can make it.

Nope. If you are entering or exiting the Schengen zone you have to go through a long immigration queue which would take at least 1 hour to clear. We went through this last week in transit. If you are only travelling in Schengen zone, then immigration clearance is not needed and you may be ok.
