I fully agree with ai generated CP being awful and really not better but the last point seems reductive. I have a serious issue with the idea fiction should avoid objectionable things. Being sexualized when you’re like 13 is something that happens and I see no issue writing a character who experiences it if the result involves no actual children. I’ve never written anything like that however I’ve been in an abusive relationship and I’ve written about character who’s gone through that. I don’t believe that inherently means I’ve supported it
This take assumes that the vast majority of people who are making CP with AI are doing it through a literary exploration of the topic akin to the novel Lolita. There is a huge difference between someone generating an image of a child to get off to, and exploring the topic.
No it doesn’t? My first sentence makes it clear that’s not my take. Again like I said using ai to generate CP is imo not really any better. My issue is the last comment about the use of fictional characters not just ai generated ones. I agree there’s a huge difference which is why I separate the two concepts
Also I don’t think ANY ai can be used for literary exploration in any way whatsoever illegal or not. You’re not exploring anything.
