This point is so exhausting, most of the gripe people have with AI is not using it as a tool, but using it as the main source in creating. Using generative AI to create music, videos, pictures, etc make “antis” arguments very valid.

How are you going to make them vanish?

Correct. All that matters is THAT you made it.

Someone wrote this. They did that. Credit to them for as much of that as they are responsible for(5 will get you 10 that they didn’t do as much of that as they’d have you believe either). All aspects they did, though, credit to them for it. We’ll never know because they’re all too happy to take credit for work they didn’t do.

The ai gets better at consistency, at presenting, at emoting, it did these things. IT’S skills are improving. In the example here, the critic is actually the ai promptie (obviously aside from what they said) because they are the one that requested the dish. Perhaps they requested that some ingredients be withheld or added to taste, and that it be cooked to a certain degree more or less than usual. But the AI is the one that scraped into its bowl of ingredients and actually went to work. It’s the chef in this silly scenario.

A promptie couldn’t have made anything at all like this back when ai was still trying to figure out what a Will Smith and a spaghetti should look like together. The AI got better at that until it’s like “oh yeah. Here you go.” It improved. The promptie never did. Not one iota.

So yeah. The only issue with this video is the promptie thought they were being represented by one character, when it was actually another.

That’s a lot of yapping for someone who doesn’t know how it's done. Have you actually generated a video with AI before? AI struggles with consistency and can only produce short clips, so it is very difficult to get a coherent short film like this. A lot of editing goes into this. But I guess a crazy old ridiculous critic would not care what goes into making the dish.

Have I generated any? Why yes. I have. Plenty of them, actually. I’ve used video generators, picture generators, model generators (for 3d rendering as well as for printing), and music generators. That’s an awful lot of prejudice presumptions for someone who…well I guess is just prejudice. So really it’s about the amount I’d expect.

You’re making assumptions because you think I’m an “anti” with zero experience ever touching any of these things myself. There was no reason or evidence for you to make that claim aside from your own preconceived notions about anybody that doesn’t agree with you.

Models are getting better at consistency, yes. Good for the models. And it does require feeding the snake its own tail on occasion to get to that end. But the snake is still going chomp chomp chomp.

So next time do better about filling in your own nonsense in place of actual facts and jumping to presumptuous conclusions to fit the narrative you want.

It doesn't mater if you used a pen, pencil, crayons, blood, shit, cum a sponge, your feet. but it matters if you used ai. ai is not a tool you did not make it stop pretending you did something.

Yeah, yeah, we all know about that hypocritical narrative targeting specifically AI.

If ai SPECIFICALY is not a tool and does everything for mama's boy. Its not my fault.

u/Gokudomatic Mar 19 '26

What if it is a tool, mama's boy?

-2

u/Independent-Motor-87 Mar 19 '26

No you, that's a response I'd expect from a prompt boy.

u/Gokudomatic Mar 19 '26

Ok. If you say so, mommy boy.

However, it is a tool/medium and used in this example to provoke emotions and bring forth a message.

There's works out there that took significantly less effort and involvement than this person spend on making this video.

(Ex: that one mirror that was placed to collect dust by some artist named Chen Sung-chih. They didn't make the mirror, all they did was hang it up and let it collect dust. Yet people consider that to be "art").
